I always get asked “What is the BEST exercise to lose fat?”

I know the person asking always wants to hear 1 special exercise that will get them crazy results immediately.

The problem is that no such exercise exists, so usually I just say either squats or deadlifts rather than go into detail about why their question doesn’t really make sense.

The exercises listed are the best overall exercises for you to do because they hit multiple muscle groups.

Of course you can do many others but these ones should make up the core of your workouts for best results.

Exercise consistently and maintain your calorie deficit.

Cardio can be very helpful in creating that calorie deficit so it’s good to add it in a few times a week.

So keep it simple and stop looking for that magical exercise 😉

Yes, this looks suspiciously like a list of things to do to lose weight…

That’s because creating a calorie deficit is the key to losing weight

Getting into a deficit is easy for a few days…

It’s hitting it consistently that people have trouble with

These are some things that’ll make that deficit easier to hit and more bearable, which will increase your likelihood of consistency and therefore results 💪🏼

Eat less and move more isn’t really very helpful, right?

I mean we all know that already

So how you go about actually eating less and moving more is the key to progress

You might not be able to do everything on this list but even if you can improve 2-3 things it’ll make a big difference

So don’t just cut calories and hope for the best

Have a plan of HOW you’re going to stick to your deficit (both on the calorie in side and the calorie out side)

Also, make sure your deficit isn’t too big

That’s going to backfire on you really quickly!
