विश्व फिजियोथेरेपी दिवस 2025 के अवसर पर डॉ. वैभव, Senior Consultant & Neurosurgeon (M.Ch. BHU), नारायण मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल ने अपने विचार साझा किए।

उन्होंने कहा कि –
“न्यूरोसर्जरी के बाद केवल ऑपरेशन ही पर्याप्त नहीं होता। मरीज की रिकवरी और जीवन की गुणवत्ता में सुधार के लिए Physiotherapy की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। यह मरीजों को दोबारा चलने-फिरने, संतुलन बनाने और सामान्य जीवन में लौटने की ताकत देती है। फिजियोथेरेपी और न्यूरोसर्जरी एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं, जो मिलकर मरीजों को बेहतर भविष्य प्रदान करते हैं।”

We are delighted to share that our World Physiotherapy Day Celebration & Free Health Camp has been featured in the newspaper.

The program was organised with the theme “Healthy Ageing”, highlighting the vital role of physiotherapy in promoting mobility, independence, and quality of life in the elderly.

World Physiotherapy Week & Day Celebration 2025
Department of Physiotherapy, NIAHS – Gopal Narayan Singh University
This year, the Department of Physiotherapy proudly celebrated World Physiotherapy Week (1st – 4th September 2025) with the global theme:
✨ “Healthy Ageing”
Our celebrations were organised at two venues:
Physiotherapy OPD, NMCH – where a 3-Day Health Camp (1st – 3rd Sept) was conducted. Free health screenings and physiotherapy consultations were offered to promote mobility, independence, and overall well-being in ageing. The camp received enthusiastic participation, especially from senior citizens who benefitted from expert guidance.
Department of Physiotherapy, NIAHS – where a series of academic and cultural activities were conducted to engage and inspire our students:
Poster Presentation Competition (2nd Sept)
Slogan Competition & Reels Competition (3rd Sept)
Poetry Competition (4th Sept)
Our events were graced by the kind presence of our Respected Director Sir & Dean Sir, NIAHS, GNSU, whose encouragement and blessings motivated all participants
All respected judges, faculties, and enthusiastic student participants for making World Physiotherapy Week 2025 a memorable and grand success.
