NIAHS has once again added a wonderful academic event to its bucket list as we move forward in March 2026 🎉

Today, we successfully hosted a *First Aid Competition* at the departmental level, organized by the Department of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (BAOTT). The event was coordinated by Mr. Sumit Singh (Department Incharge), with Mr. Ankit and Mr. Pushpanjay as the organisers.

We were honoured to have Dr Wali Akram from the Department of Medicine and Dr Vijay Pathania from the Department of Physiotherapy as the judges for the event.

Our students showcased exceptional talent, creativity, and practical skills. They demonstrated innovative First Aid Kits integrated with QR codes, reflecting the smart use of technology in healthcare. Live case scenarios were also presented, where students effectively handled different emergency situations with confidence and competence.

🏆 *Congratulations to 6th Semester BAOTT* for emerging as the winners!

The Director, NIAHS, congratulated all faculty members and students for their efforts. He also distributed awards to the winners and encouraged students to actively participate in such academic events in the future. He appreciated the quality and innovation of the First Aid Kits and announced that these kits will be implemented across the institute at various levels.

Additionally, the responsibility for the maintenance and management of First Aid Kits has been assigned to the BAOTT department. The department will also ensure prompt first aid support whenever required within the institute.

NIAHS continues to make its mark on prestigious academic platforms! 🌟

Our students and faculty from the Department of Physiotherapy proudly participated in the NeuroRevive Conference hosted by Heritage Medical College, Varanasi. It was a moment of great pride as both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students actively contributed and showcased their academic excellence.

Our faculty members also presented papers on recent advancements in the field of physiotherapy, reflecting the institute’s commitment to research and innovation.

We are especially proud to share that Dr. Narendra Kumar (Department Incharge) served as Chairperson for various sessions at the conference and was honored with the “Young Academician of the Year” award. Heartiest congratulations to him for this remarkable achievement! 🎉
