Dear well-wisher,

Over the past 27 years, Girija Hospital has become a name synonymous with the highest quality patient care in the extremely challenging field of brain & spine surgery. From being the first ever practicing neurosurgeon in Satara district, to becoming one of the senior-most authorities in his profession, my father, Dr. Sunil Ramrao Yadav has always striven to provide his best set of skills and knowledge to the well-being of his patients. Apart from being an astute physician, it is his empathy towards each and every one alike that endears him to his patients. It was with these ideals, and with my mother as the guiding light, that I found my calling to become a doctor.
I have completed my M.B.B.S. from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad, internship from KEM Hospital, Pune, and an additional degree of M.S. (Ortho) from Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital, Chennai. I have vast experience in the treatment of simple and complex trauma, as I have worked in multiple hospitals across different cities like Solapur, Pune, and Mumbai. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Orthopaedic surgeons Dr. Manmath Raut and his son, Dr. Sudarshan from Raut Hospital, Solapur, who have played a pivotal role in shaping my career as an Orthopaedician. I have specialized in the field of joint replacement with a fellowship under the aegis of Dr. Nilen Shah, a leading expert practising in Mumbai. Arthroscopy and sports medicine are branches of Orthopaedics which have grown considerably in recent times owing to certain active lifestyle changes, and I have a keen interest in tackling afflictions related to the same. I hope to bring forth the latest advancements in the treatment of not only fractured bones, but all the diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system as a whole, to the people of Rajdhani Satara, which is rapidly transforming itself into a hub of excellent and affordable healthcare. It is with this purpose that I'm taking charge of the Orthopaedics department at Girija Hospital, which has now truly evolved into a Multispeciality Centre, with my wife Dr. Ashwini Yadav getting her Dermatology practice underway soon.
It gives me immense pleasure to become a part of this renowned institution, and steer it towards greater heights – which is the need of the hour in this ever-changing landscape of healthcare & medicine.
In keeping with our tradition, I hope to carry forward the legacy built on the solid pillars of care, passion, compassion, and trust, while remembering that it is always about the patient first.
