Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy successfully organized the 7th HOWDY ALUMNI MEET – 2026 on 2nd May 2026 at Acharya Charaka Seminar Hall. The event was organized by the Training and Placement Cell with the objective of reconnecting with alumni, celebrating their achievements, and strengthening the lifelong bond between the institution and its graduates.

The program began with an energetic welcome dance performance by Third Year B. Pharm students, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting in the presence of dignitaries, faculty members, and proud alumni.

The event was graced by Hon. Lt. Col. Ratnesh Sinha, Chief Executive Officer, Bhonsale Knowledge City, and Hon. Dr. Vijay Jagtap, Principal, Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy, who addressed the gathering with their inspiring and motivating words.

A major highlight of the event was the Alumni Achievement Certificate Ceremony, organized for the first time to recognize alumni for their remarkable achievements in professional competitive examinations, academic excellence, and higher education.

The alumni interaction session became the heart of the program, where alumni shared their professional journeys, cherished memories, and valuable guidance for budding pharmacists, making the gathering truly memorable.

The event was gracefully hosted by Ms. Namita Bhosale, while the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mrs. Priya Yadav. The event was successfully organized by both under the valuable guidance of Hon. Dr. Vijay Jagtap.

_*7th Convocation Ceremony of Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm....*_

_*"Consistency and Honesty are Essential for Success": President Shraddha Bhonsale*_

_The convocation ceremony for the 2021–25 batch of Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy was held today in an atmosphere filled with joy, pride and inspiration. The event, organized at the Acharya Charak Auditorium in Bhonsale Knowledge City, was graced by the President of Sawantwadi Municipal Council, Shraddha Bhonsale, as the Chief Guest._

_The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp. The ceremony was attended by the chairperson of BKC, Adv.Asmita Sawant Bhonsale; Secretary, Sanjeev Desai; Chief Executive Officer, Lt Col Ratnesh Sinha; Principal, Dr. Vijay Jagtap; Coordinator, Prof. Namita Narvekar; Prof. Pranali Joshi and other dignitaries. A significant number of students and their parents were present. The atmosphere appeared grand and formal as everyone was dressed in the traditional convocation attire._

_In her address, Shraddha Bhonsale inspired the students, stating that qualities like consistency, patience and honesty are vital for achieving success. She remarked that by staying loyal to one’s chosen field and working hard, any height can be scaled. Education is not just a process of obtaining a degree but a preparation to work responsibly for society. Use your knowledge for the upliftment of the community, she added. On this occasion, she was felicitated by the institution with a shawl, shriphal and a memento._

_During his introductory remarks, Dr. Vijay Jagtap reviewed the college's progress, noting that the institution has carved a niche for itself in the district by providing quality education in a short span of time. Sanjeev Desai and Ratnesh Sinha also guided the students and extended their best wishes for a bright future. Some parents also expressed their views and mentioned that the institution has provided the students with excellent values alongside a quality education._

_The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of degree certificates to the students in the presence of their parents. Satisfaction was evident on the faces of the students while pride shone clearly in the eyes of the parents. The students were also administered an oath of social responsibility and duty. The program was compered by Prof. Namita Bhosale and the vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Pranali Joshi._

_भोसले नॉलेज सिटी येथे महाराष्ट्र दिन आज मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला. महाराष्ट्र राज्याच्या स्थापनेचा हा दिवस राज्याच्या समृद्ध इतिहास, संस्कृती आणि परंपरेची आठवण करून देणारा आहे. १ मे १९६० रोजी महाराष्ट्र राज्याची निर्मिती झाली असून, उद्योग, शिक्षण, कला आणि साहित्य क्षेत्रात राज्याने देशात महत्त्वपूर्ण स्थान मिळवले आहे._

_यावेळी संस्थेचे रजिस्ट्रार प्रसाद महाले यांच्या हस्ते राष्ट्रध्वज फडकवून मानवंदना देण्यात आली. त्यानंतर राष्ट्रगीत व महाराष्ट्र गीत गाऊन उपस्थितांनी देशभक्तीपूर्ण वातावरणात सलामी दिली. या कार्यक्रमाला संस्थेचे सर्व प्राचार्य, विभाग प्रमुख, शिक्षक तसेच शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी उपस्थित होते. कार्यक्रमादरम्यान देशप्रेम, एकात्मता आणि राज्याभिमानाचा संदेश देण्यात आला. निवेदन अमर प्रभू यांनी केले._
