Glimpses of Awareness Session on the topic “Mediclaim purpose and benefits’'

Today on 02nd July 2025, an awareness session was conducted on the topic “Mediclaim purpose and benefits '’ in collaboration with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd.

On the behalf of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd., Mr. Mahendra Sawant, Mr. Kalyan Pande and Mr. Narayan Pednekar were presented for said program. Hon. Dr. Vijay A. Jagtap, Principal, YBCP did a welcome by offering Plant Saplings to the dignitaries.

Mr. Kalyan Pande and Mr. Mahendra Sawant gave an insight about the-
• Policies under ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd.
• Need and Befits of Group Insurance.
• Need of Accidental Insurance and it’s benefits. Etc.

All the Teaching and Non-teaching faculties were present, and gain the information about the purpose and benefits of Mediclaim.

The event was organised by BKC at Seminar hall, of Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy. The program was coordinated by Mr. Tushar G. Rukari, Asst. Professor and HoD (Pharmaceutics-UG)

आज ०२ जुलै २०२५ रोजी, आयसीआयसीआय लोम्बार्ड जनरल इन्शुरन्स कंपनी लिमिटेडच्या सहकार्याने “मेडिक्लेमचा उद्देश आणि फायदे” या विषयावर जागरूकता सत्र आयोजित करण्यात आले.

आयसीआयसीआय लोम्बार्ड जनरल इन्शुरन्स कंपनी लिमिटेडच्या वतीने, श्री. महेंद्र सावंत, श्री. कल्याण पांडे आणि श्री. नारायण पेडणेकर या कार्यक्रमासाठी उपस्थित होते. माननीय डॉ. विजय अ. जगताप, प्राचार्य, वाय.बी.सी.पी. यांनी यांनी स्वागत केले.

*Glimpse of 26th June - International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking....*
Awareness program organised by Bhonsale Knowledge City in association with Maharashtra Police, Sindhudurg on 26th June,2025 at Seminar hall, Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy..

The 2025 theme for this year is
*"Breaking the Chains: Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery for All"*

This Awareness program was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Hon. Achyut Sawantbhonsale Executive Chairman, BKC and Hon. Dr. Mohan Dahikar, Superintendent of Police, Sindhudurg District in the presence of Hon. Mr. Amol Chavan, Police Inspector, Sawantwadi, Hon. Dr. Vijay A. Jagtap, Principal, YBCP & Hon. Satyajit Sathe, Principal, YBDP.

Hon. Dr. Dahikar Sir delivered his thoughts regarding the event & shared a strong message to the students through his speech...*"Say no to Drugs..."*

For this Program the students from Bhonsale Knowledge City, RPD College & SPK College were present.

A short movie entitled "Khod" is shown to all the students regarding Drug abuse and illicit trafficking by Police department. As well as Hon. Mr. Chavan sir has given oath to all wrt the event.

*Glimpse of International Yoga Day Celebration*

The NSS Cell of Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy, Sawantwadi, celebrated International Yoga Day on 21/06/2025 by organizing a yoga session at the YBCP Seminar Hall.

The event commenced with an address by Hon.Dr. Vijay Jagtap, Principal, YBCP, who highlighted the significance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being.
First-year B. Pharmacy students actively took part in the event and performed different yoga asanas with great enthusiasm.

The session was streamed online as per the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The session created a positive and energetic atmosphere, inspiring everyone to include yoga in their daily life.
