Meet Hanuman⭐️
He came to us ten years ago, at just 14 years old, through the intervention of the District Collector. He was rescued from a local MR school where he had faced conditions no child should ever have to endure. When he arrived, he carried a difficult past but also a spark that refused to go out.
Today, at 24, that spark has become his entire personality.
Hanuman is one of the most lively, warm, and happy souls in our home. He greets everyone with the biggest smile, loves helping the younger kids bathing them, feeding them, getting them ready and takes genuine pride in being responsible. He’s also someone who loves keeping himself top-notch: new clothes, new shoes, goggles, grooming, getting ready… he enjoys every bit of it, and honestly, it’s adorable to watch.
But what many people don’t know about him is his talent.
Hanuman is an incredible athlete especially in sprinting and javelin throw. He has competed in multiple competitions and has won medals that he proudly shows off to anyone who asks. Every win of his feels like a reminder that abilities come in different forms, and strength doesn’t always look the same.
Despite everything he has lived through, Hanuman is joy in human form. He dances whenever he gets a chance, laughs easily, and finds excitement in the smallest of things. He teaches us, every single day, that happiness isn’t about being “normal” or having more it’s about feeling loved, safe, and seen.
Hanuman is normal in his own way.
And that way is beautiful. 🪄
