Dr. Govind Verma, is a senior Interventional Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, Pancreatologist and Endosonologist, having 21 years of experience. He has graduated from KEM hospital Mumbai,One of the largest and busiest hospital in the country. During his academic years he was awarded Gold medals.

After DM he has worked as liver specialist and interventional endoscopist at leading corporate hospitals in Hyderabad and Mumbai. During last 21 years, he has also worked at Basvatarkam Cancer institute as Head of GI and Liver pancreas oncology and treated many patients with obstructive jaundice due to Liver and pancreatic tumour (Cancer), Oesophageal and colonic cancer. He has also worked in various leading corporate hospitals of Hyderabad for almost 15 years.

He is trained for advanced therapeutic endoscopic interventions like ERCP, CBD-stenting, esophageal stenting, pancreatic stenting. He also has a special interest in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and EUS guided therapeutic interventions like EUS guided biopsy, EUS guided pancreatic pseudo-cyst drainage, pancreatic and bile duct stenting etc. He has special interest in interventional endoscopy like third space endoscopic surgery, like POEM, ARMS, GERD-X, Endoscopic sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG)
