Generic Plus Pharmacy is a progressive and independent family owned pharmacy whose history could be traced back to December 2017, when the founder, Mr. Hemanth realized the need of a certified and reasonable pharmacy store in Hyderabad. With the help of his father B Srinivasa Rao, who is a medical expert and his mother, P Vijaya Lakshmi who is a staff nurse, he launched the first store of Generic Plus Pharmacy in the same year.

Comprehending the success and demand of the store within the year, he set afloat another store by the same name in the nearby town. It was during this time that we got the franchise of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana Kendra, a scheme by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India. This helped in providing medicines to the people who can not afford them.

The challenge we faced here was the set number of combinations of drugs that could be made available in a Pradhan Mantri store, ie. 600-700 combinations. However in the market there were a number of drugs available at lower costs, which needed to be put into the store. We then decided to go for a private pharmacy chain.

We now bring every molecule available in the generic stream to the customer at discounted prices. We also bring to our store the branded drugs and sell them at discounted prices. The concept of providing with quality medicine has always been our priority. We sell medications of the organizations which are WHO certified and the quality check is at par.
