What does it truly mean to search for the Moner Manush — the person of the soul?

In a world rushing endlessly forward, Moner Manush is an invitation to slow down. To return to love, peace, humanity, and meaningful conversations that nourish the inner self.

This is not merely an interview series. It is a quiet journey into art, consciousness, silence, longing, and the unseen connections that make us human.

In the blazing light of noon, the Greek philosopher Diogenes once wandered the streets with a lantern—not in search of mere living beings, but of a true human soul. Amid the crowded throng, he looked beyond the visible, seeking a presence illuminated by genuine humanity—something rare, almost lost in the artifice of society.
And now, we set out on an even deeper quest—the search for the moner manush, the person of the soul.
We dive into the ocean of the self, seeking that formless jewel we have always known, yet remain eternally separated from. We often forget that to find them, we must descend inward—quietly, patiently—like immersing in Radha Kund only to emerge in Shyam Kund. We must learn to sit in stillness, to listen closely to the pulse of the earth, to watch the first stars appear at the edge of an imagined dusk, to pause and witness light dancing upon green leaves.
It is to feel the silent ache of a bud becoming a flower, or the fleeting ecstasy of a restless butterfly upon a wild bloom—this has always been our eternal calling.
Beyond all conflict, there comes a moment when we bow before peace. When every desire has been fulfilled, yet a vast emptiness spreads across the heart—like a beggar revealing the quiet poverty of a king.
And then, from the deepest recesses within, a voice calls—soft, familiar: “Come… the time has come.”
Its echo is ancient, eternal. Only the sensitive, awakened soul can hear it. Guided by its light, the horizon begins to glow. Alone, unbound, the path unfolds—one that is filled only with love.
And somewhere within, our longing whispers: “Here… this is the one I have always known—my moner manush—self-illuminated, realized, and one with the universal consciousness.”

গ্রীক দার্শনিক ডায়োজিনিস ভরা দুপুরে লণ্ঠন হাতে শহরে ‘মানুষ' খুঁজছিলেন। আসলে রক্ত-মাংসের মানুষের ভিড়ে মানবিক গুণসম্পন্ন এক প্রকৃত মানুষের সন্ধান করছিলেন, যা সমাজের কৃত্রিমতায় হারিয়ে গেছে। আমরা আরও এক কঠিন কাজ করতে চলেছি। খুঁজতে চলেছি “মনের মানুষ”। যে রুপসাগরে ডুব দিয়ে অরূপরতন মনের সেই মানুষ খুঁজে চলি প্রতিনিয়ত। যাঁর সাথে আমাদের চির-বিরহ। কিন্তু ভুলে যাই তাকে পেতে হলে মনের গভীরে যেতে হবে। এ যেন রাধা কুণ্ডে ডুব মেরে শ্যাম কুণ্ডে ওঠা। ভুলে যাই তাকে পেতে হলে বসতে হবে চুপটি করে, কান পেতে থাকতে হবে মাটির বুকে। সব কাজ থামিয়ে চেয়ে দেখতে হবে কাল্পনিক গোধূলির শেষে আকাশে তারার আবির্ভাব । যেন চোখে ধরা দেয় সবুজ পাতায় আলোর নাচন। অনুভব করতে হবে কুঁড়ি থেকে ফুল হয়ে ফোঁটার বেদনাকে, অথবা সেই ভাট ফুলের ওপর চঞ্চল প্রজাপতির একান্ত উচ্ছ্বাস, এসব দ্যাখাই তো আমাদের চিরকালীন কাজ। সমস্ত সংঘাত পেরিয়ে যখন এক শান্তির কাছে নতজানু হতে হয়। সমস্ত বাসনা চরিতার্থর পর যখন ঘিরে ধরে বৈরাগ্য। সব পাওয়ার পরও যখন বুক জুড়ে থাকে এক আকাশ শূন্যতা, ঠিক যেমন ভাবে রাজার দৈন্যকে উদঘাটন করে দেয় পথের কাঙাল। কে যেন ডাক দিয়ে যায় মনের গভীর গহন থেকে, ‘এসো, এসো এবার সময় এসেছে’ । তার আওয়াজ বড়ই চেনা। সেই অনাদি অনন্তকাল থেকে তার যাত্রা শুরু, তার ডাক কেবল শুনতে পায় অনুভবি শিল্পী মন, তার প্রজ্ঞার রশ্মিতে আলোকিত হয়ে ওঠে দিগন্ত, গোষ্ঠীহীন, নিঃসঙ্গ তার চলার পথ যা শুধুই প্রেমে পরিপূর্ণ । আমাদের অমৃতাকাঙ্খী মন বলতে থাকে এই তো আমার চেনা সেই মনের মানুষ, আত্মদীপ্তে, আত্মসাধনায় বিশ্বচেতনায় পরিপূর্ণ। তাঁর সেই মঙ্গলময় যাত্রাপথে সামিল হওয়াই লক্ষ্য হয়ে উঠুক| চরৈবেতি...
