Inter-Faculty Sports Competition Kicks Off at HPU Ground

Shimla, May 19, 2025 – The much-awaited-4th Inter-Faculty Sports Competition commenced today at the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) Ground with great enthusiasm and energy. The opening ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. Mamta Mokta, Dean Students’ Welfare, and Prof. S.L Kaushal controler of examination , HPU. Both dignitaries addressed the gathering and extended their blessings and best wishes to the participating students.

In her address, Prof. Mamta Mokta encouraged students to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and highlighted the role of sports in the overall development of youth. Prof. S.L Kaushal, Dr. Vinay sharma NSS cordinator, Dr. Shalini kashmiriya department of Law were present chef guest emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and dedication in both academics and athletics.

The competition kicked off with thrilling volleyball matches for both boys and girls, drawing spirited participation and loud cheers from the audience. The atmosphere was vibrant as faculties competed with zeal and showcased their sporting skills.

The event marks the beginning of a series of sports competitions aimed at fostering unity, health, and competitive spirit among HPU students. The tournament will continue in the coming days with events in various disciplines.

हिमाचल प्रदेश स्कूल शिक्षा बोर्ड धर्मशाला द्वारा दसवीं की वार्षिक परीक्षा में हिमालयन पब्लिक स्कूल स्मृति पुत्री श्री मुकेश कुमार नेगी ने 95.2 प्रतिशत अंक लेकर जिला किन्नौर में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया श्री प्रेम कृष्ण ने 93.8 प्रतिशत अंक लेकर दूसरा सुहानी लोटस पुत्री श्री संजय कुमार ने 93.1% अंकका तीसरा स्थान और वर्णिका ने की पुत्री श्री राम लोक नेगी ने 92.7 प्रतिशत अंक लेकर चौथा स्थान प्राप्त कर स्कूल का नाम रोशन किया है और स्कूल में उत्सव का माहौल है स्कूल के प्रबंधन समिति श्री यशपाल नेगी बीरबल नेगी राजेश नेगी और स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल संजयोती ने की ने इन छात्रों और माता-पिता को सम्मानित कर उनके शानदार कामयाबी के लिए दिल से बधाई देते हुए उनके उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना की है और स्कूल के प्रबंधन समिति ने इस कामयाबी के लिए सभी टीचिंग फैमिली का आभार व्यक्त किया है
