O greatly fortunate Lord Dhanvantari, bestower of the nectar of immortality!

and protect our lives as medicine protects the body.

सिद्धगन्धर्वयक्षाघैरसुरैरमरैरपि ।
सेव्यामाना सदा भूयात् सिद्धिदात्रि यशस्विनी ||

Siddha-gandharva-yakṣāghaiḥ – By Siddhas (enlightened beings), Gandharvas (celestial musicians), Yakṣas (demigods),

Asuraiḥ amaraiḥ api – Even by Asuras (demons) and Amaras (Devas, immortals),

Sevyamānā sadā – She is always worshipped,

Bhūyāt Siddhidātrī yaśasvinī – May the glorious Goddess Siddhidatri bestow success, perfection, and siddhis (mystic powers).

Devi Siddhidatri is the ninth and final form of Goddess Durga, worshipped on Maha Navami.

The name Siddhidatri means the one who grants siddhis (supernatural powers and perfections).

She blesses her devotees with spiritual and material fulfillment.

Even celestial beings, demons, and sages worship her for attaining ultimate success, liberation, and divine powers.

She is depicted seated on a lotus, holding chakra, shankha, gada, and lotus, symbolizing balance of power, purity, and blessings.

👉 Spiritually, she represents the culmination of devotion and the awakening of the Sahasrara Chakra (crown chakra), leading to realization of the supreme truth.

ॐ देवी महागौर्यै नमः॥

वन्दे वाञ्छितलाभाय चन्द्रार्धकृतशेखराम्।
वृषारूढां शूलधरां महागौरीं यशस्विनीम्॥

Meaning:
I bow to Goddess Mahāgaurī, who fulfills the desires of her devotees. She wears the crescent moon on her forehead, rides a bull, holds a trident, and radiates brilliance.

She is worshipped on the eighth day (Ashtamī tithi) of Navaratri.

Represents purity, serenity, and compassion.

Symbolizes the removal of sins, sorrows, and past karmic burdens.

Devotees believe she grants relief from sufferings and bestows peace and prosperity.

Meditating upon Devi Mahāgaurī, who rides a white bull, is adorned in white garments, and is ever pure. She grants auspiciousness and immense joy to Lord Mahādeva (Shiva).

"ॐ क्रीं कालीकायै नमः"

ॐ महाकाल्यै च विद्महे स्मशानवासिन्यै च धीमहि ।
तन्नो कालि प्रचोदयात् ॥

Om – the primordial sound.

Mahākālyai cha vidmahe – We meditate upon Mahākālī, the great cosmic power of time and dissolution.

Smashānavāsinyai cha dhīmahi – We contemplate on the goddess who resides in the cremation ground, symbolizing detachment from worldly illusion and fearlessness in facing death.

Tanno Kāli prachodayāt – May that Goddess Kāli inspire and guide our intellect and actions.

Mahākālī represents the timeless cosmic energy, beyond creation and destruction.
Her association with smashāna (cremation ground) shows her mastery over life, death, and rebirth.
She destroys ignorance, ego, and fear, leading the devotee to liberation.

She gives Protection from negative forces.
Courage to overcome obstacles.
Inner transformation and spiritual awakening.

चन्द्रहासोज्ज्वलकरा शारदुलवरवाहना ।
कात्यायनी शुभं दद्यान्महासुरमर्दिनी ॥

“Holding the shining sword (Chandrahasa), riding the majestic lion, may Goddess Katyayani, the great destroyer of demons, bless us with auspiciousness.”

She has four or sometimes ten arms.
She carries a sword, lotus, and other divine weapons.

Lion, symbolizing courage and fearlessness.
Fierce yet benevolent, radiant like gold.

Worship of Katyayani Devi removes obstacles in marriage and relationships (especially for young girls seeking a suitable life partner – as mentioned in the Bhagavata Purana where the gopis of Vrindavan worshipped her).

She symbolizes courage, victory, and righteousness.

She is associated with the Ajna Chakra (third eye chakra), representing intuition and clarity.

सिंहासनगता नित्यं पद्माश्रितकरद्वया।
शुभदास्तु सदा देवी स्कन्दमाता यशस्विनी॥

Skanda Mātā is worshipped on the fifth day of Navratri.

She is the mother of Skanda (Kārtikeya / Subrahmanya), hence called Skanda Mātā.

She is depicted seated on a lion, carrying Skanda in her lap, and holding lotus flowers in two hands while showing abhaya mudra (protection gesture).

She bestows wisdom, power, and prosperity upon devotees.

Worship of Skanda Mātā is believed to purify the heart and mind, leading one towards moksha (liberation).

सुरासम्पूर्णकलशं रुधिराप्लुतमेव च ।
दधाना हस्तपद्माभ्यां कूष्माण्डा शुभदास्तु मे ॥

Kūṣmāṇḍā Devī is the fourth form of Navadurga, worshipped on the fourth day of Navarātri.
She is believed to have created the universe with her gentle smile, and hence her name is derived from Ku (a little), Uṣma (warmth/energy), and Āṇḍa (cosmic egg).

She is depicted with eight or ten hands, holding weapons, rosary, nectar, and a pot filled with divine nectar (surāsampūrṇa kalaśa).
She rides a lion and radiates the light of creation.
She brings health, wealth, and strength, removes obstacles and fear, grants radiance, positivity, and courage.
She is worshipped as the mother of the universe who sustains life with energy.

ॐ देवी कुष्माण्डायै नमः ।
It invokes her blessings for health, energy, and prosperity.
