*தீபாவளி பற்றிய சுவையான தகவல்கள்* .....

* மும்பை நாசிக் வழியில் புருஷ்வாடி கிராமத்தில் உள்ள குன்றின் அருகே கிராம மக்கள் அனைவரும் கூடி தீபாவளியை கொண்டாடுவர். குழந்தைகள் விளக்குகளை ஏந்தியபடி கிராமம் முழுவதும் எண்ணெய் சேகரித்து, குன்றுக்கு எடுத்து வருவர். குன்றின் மீது விறகுகளால் ஒரு கூம்பு அமைத்து, அதில் வாணவேடிக்கைகள் நிரப்பப்பட்டிருக்கும். எண்ணெய்களை குழந்தைகள் விறகுகளில் கொட்டப்பட்டு ஏற்றப்படும். பிறகு மக்கள் விருந்து சாப்பிட்டு வீடு திரும்புவர்.

* காசியில் அன்னபூரணி தங்கத்தில் காட்சி தருவார். அவருக்கு அடியில் சிவன் அன்னம் கேட்டு நிற்பார். அங்கு பொரி பிரசாதமாக வழங்கப்பட்டு, அன்னபூரணிக்கும், விஸ்வநாதருக்கும் அன்னக்கூட வைபவம் நடக்கும். இதில் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான உணவுப் பதார்த்தங்கள் படைக்கப்படும்.

* ஆறாவது சீக்கிய குரு கோவிந்த சிங்ஜி மதம் மாற மறுத்தபோது, இஸ்லாமியரால் சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டார். சிறை காலம் முடிந்து அவர்கள் வெளிவந்தது தீபாவளியன்று. அதுவே சீக்கியர்களின் தீபாவளி. பொற்கோயிலை அமிர்தசரஸில் அலங்கரித்து, வெடி வெடித்து கொண்டாடுவர். கோயிலின் முன் உள்ள சரோவர் குளத்தில் ஸ்நானம் செய்து பொற்கோயிலுக்குள் செல்வது இவர்களின் வழக்கமாக இன்றும் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

* இளம் சிவப்பு நகரமான ஜெய்ப்பூர் முழுதும் விளக்குகள் கொண்டு அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டு ஜொலிக்கும். சிட்டி பேலஸ், ஹவா மஹால், கோட்டைகள், அரண்மனைகள் விளக்குகளால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டு பிரகாசமாக காட்சியளிக்கும். தீபாவளியின் போது அற்புதமான ஸ்பெஷல் பட்டாசு வெடிப்பு நிகழ்ச்சி காணப்பட வேண்டிய ஒன்று.

* அயோத்தியில் ராமர் கோயில் கூடுதல் கவர்ச்சியாக காட்சியளிக்கும். பல மில்லியன் கணக்கான மண் விளக்குகள், தீபங்கள் மற்றும் மெழுகுவர்த்திகள் என அனைத்து இடங்களிலும் ஒளிரும். நகரம் முழுவதும் ராம் லீலா நிகழ்ச்சிகள் கூடுதல் சிறப்பு.

* உதய்பூரை, ஏரிகளின் நகரம் என அழைப்பர். பிரமாண்டமான அரண்மனைகள், அமைதியான ஏரிகள் கொண்டாட்டங்களுக்கு தூண்டுதல்கள். சிட்டி பேலஸ், லேக் பிச்கோலா போன்றவை அலங்கார விளக்குகளுக்காகவே காணப்பட வேண்டியவை. பிச்கோலா ஏரியில் படகு சவாரியும் உண்டு. உள்ளூர் சந்தைகளில் அழகிய கைவினைப் பொருட்களையும், வண்ணமயமான துணிகளையும் வாங்கலாம்.

* கொல்கத்தாவில், தீபாவளி காளி பூஜையாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. விசேஷ பந்தல்கள் ஊர் முழுக்க அமைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். மின் விளக்குகளால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட ஹவுரா பாலம், விக்டோரியா நினைவுச்சின்னம், தட்சனேஸ்வரர் கோயில் காணப்பட வேண்டியவை.

An interesting point was discussed recently: people wanted instant healing. Because the world has become instant itself. Instant noodles, instant loan, instant cereal, etc. When people approach baba, they expect a barter… Oh Baba, cure me and I will buy flowers for you.. Baba take away my pain and I will light ghee lamp. Yet, what we fail to realise is that sometimes, the pain is caused by our own misdeeds. Yet when we demand a cure without any remorse… or when we are readily able to give away pain to Baba, can we also be prepared to carry ‘HIS’ pain.

"Every experience has its level of physiology, and so unbounded awareness has its own level of physiology which can be measured. Every aspect of life is integrated and connected with every other phase. When we talk of scientific measurements, it does not take away from the spiritual experience. We are not responsible for those times when spiritual experience was thought of as metaphysical. Everything is physical. [human] Consciousness is the product of the functioning of the [human] brain. Talking of scientific measurements is no damage to that wholeness of life which is present everywhere and which begins to be lived when the physiology is taking on a particular form. This is our understanding about spirituality: it is not on the level of faith --it is on the level of blood and bone and flesh and activity. It is measurable.
