The real Kashmir and Kashmiryat doesn't relate to today's massacre at Pahalgam. Serving a guest/Tourist with love , compassion and warmth is in our blood. Today we had an opportunity to attend more than a dozen patients/Tourists from Kolkata who were enroute to Srinagar from Mata Vaishnodevi but all of them had encountered foodborne illness (gastroenteritis) midway.We were privileged to treat them and send them off recovered with a smile and gratitude.

Our relationship with Tourists will remain undeterred with these barbaric episodes.

Dear Shopian

We are glad to report a rare case of two gallbladders(gallbladder duplication) in a young male patient with approx 15mm solitary calculus(stone) in one of the gall bladders with 2 separate cystic ducts operated at our hospital. Two gallbladders (Gallbladder duplication) is a very rare congenital biliary malformation.

The Ultrasound examination had suggested a septate gallbladder; the diagnosis of dual gallbladder was made per-operatively during separation of the distal moiety which was presumed to be an adherent duodenum initially. Intraoperative findings confirmed the diagnosis and both gallbladders were removed successfully laparoscopically by Our renowned surgeon Dr Ayoub and anesthesia team was headed by Dr Irfan Bashir.

Patient was operated and discharged successfully.
