Job Opening: Accountant
đ Location: Sivasagar, Assam
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our healthcare and retail-pharmacy group. The candidate should be comfortable with day-to-day accounting, taxation basics, and record-keeping for a growing business with multiple outlets and units.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain accurate daily accounts and ledgers (using Tally/other accounting software).
Handle sales/purchase entries, petty cash, and expense tracking.
Assist in GST, TDS, and basic taxation compliance under the guidance of consultants.
Support in bank reconciliations and vendor/customer payment records.
Prepare simple monthly reports for management review.
Assist in payroll preparation, staff reimbursements, and basic compliance (PF/ESI).
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelorâs degree in Commerce/Accounting (M.Com preferred but not mandatory).
Knowledge of basic accounting and taxation is a must.
Familiarity with Tally ERP / MS Excel.
Ability to maintain organized financial records.
Honest, dependable, and detail-focused.
