PAWLENTINE DRIVEđļ
Road accidents involving street dogs are preventable. On 14th February 2026, an awareness-driven initiative was carried out in different areas of Sivasagar, where reflective collars were fitted on street dogs to improve their visibility during night hours and reduce accidental injuries and deaths.
This humane step was taken by NGO AKSHAR FOUNDATION in collaboration with the State Veterinary Hospital, Sivasagar, led by Dr. Prince Boro and Dr. Chayanika Das.
A small collar can save a life.
Awareness, compassion, and responsible driving are key to protecting our street animals and ensuring safer roads for everyone.
