Hope… even when hope seems impossible. ❤️
A tiny baby girl from Nepal, born at just 27 weeks and weighing barely 1.2 kg, came into this world fighting for survival. She was diagnosed with a severe and life-threatening condition — Necrotising Enterocolitis — with gangrenous bowel.
Because of political unrest, she could reach us only after two critical days… time that this condition simply doesn’t allow.
A large segment of her intestine had to be removed. What followed was an incredibly stormy journey — four surgeries, prolonged ventilation, and a long, fragile stay in the NICU.
But sometimes, resilience is stronger than circumstance.
Today, she is 4 months old, weighs 4.5 kg, and came to visit me — thriving, smiling(well ,not exactly in the pic🙂), and full of life.
Her mother told me,
"I had promised God I wouldn’t name her until she was well and truly thriving."
Today, she has a name.
Saanvi. 🌸
