That too in the shape of a big expansive heart ❤️

I have been resonating with the philosophy of for a long time.

Simple as the entire philosophy seems, the practical tools developed by her to make the change such as affirmations, mirror work, visualizations, go real deep.
 
To decode the connection between the mind and body – and lead to healing.
 
So here I am now a ‘Heal Your Life Teacher’, heart full of gratitude and honoured to be chosen to enable this deep healing work in this world.
 
This learning feels precious and special, and therefore I have held back, and taken my time to share this months after the actual training.. Because I did not want to share out of mere excitement, but rather a grounded sense of purpose, to allow this joy and purpose sink in.

🏔️Feeling blissful, showered with blessings from Lord Shiva - with visits to Tunganath (world’s Highest Shiva Temple) and Omkareshwar Temple (winter seat of Kedarnath deity). 🧘‍♀️

I Have been seeking to visit here since 3 years, but this year, the calling became strong and I just had to find a way to overcome my obstacles to make it. So I put the offer of a vegan trek out to my inner circle community and volla, in no time, a group of 7 like minded seekers came together.

Most of us were meeting in person for the first time, but it never felt this way. We were aligned, in sync and looked out for one another like family. We had the best time ever!!!

Some highlights for me :

🏔️Making it to Chandrashilla (3690 m) to get clear 360 Degree peakscape views of Trishut, Nandadevi and Kedar Dome.
👩‍🦳So inspired and honoured to have Prabha, who is 60 + years of age, and is Vegan, who she made it too!
🥭We also had a raw vegan doctor in the group, .rashmi.menon - who also made it to the top.

Of course none of this would have been possible, without the incredible arrangements and healthy vegan menu curated in collaboration with . Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Lots of wild foraged ferns and berries, and local delicacies courtesy our incredible local guides and Jagat.

Each day’s terrain challenged us, but also gave us the spaciousness to go deeper within to seek our truth..

I understood again, the purpose of travel..

With every mindful step,
we return to the sacred rhythm of the earth—
nourished by plants,
in harmony with all beings,
guided by love unseen,
and held in the silent grace of Lord Shiva—
the wanderer, the yogi, the guardian of all life.

Comment BOOKS if you want links to these books!

Last year, I was going through anxiety. There was no apparent reason as life was fine.. yet here I was struggling with daily tasks, simple conversations, task delegation and socializing.

I was a lot ‘in my head’ if you know what I mean. And of course I saw how my energy was depleted and manifesting in daily physical symptoms.

Mystically, these books came to me in succession, all with the same message in different voices.
Just reading and learning from them, taught me to get out of my head and out of my thoughts and become an observer to them. And lots more!

If you would really like to bring about deep shifts in your mindset and health, I highly recommend you get them on your reading list this year too!

There are 2 most important dates in your life.

The first - the day you are born 👶
The second - (as I call it) the day you are reborn or the day you find why you were born. 🦄

It was incredible being a part of the yummiest and most thought provoking vegan potluck in Goa yesterday organised by .

Met an amazing bunch of passionate humans who felt like long time friends.. each following their calling..

We Each introduced our business - that of teaching yoga, making vegan cheese , selling gluten free paranthas and brownies , starting up chemical and preservative shelf stable free vegan desserts, dropping out from the corporate sector to pursue activism ..

It was slightly amusing to introduce my business - that of helping people change their habits to reverse lifestyle diseases from the root and reach their highest health 😇

Anyway, I also loved that the majority of the food served were fresh fruit and salads. Perfect for the sweltering goa heat atm 🥰🥗

Just felt like sharing with you all, how incredible it is finding your community and tribe 😊

🌊⛰️🗻🌄🌍🌎🌏 The blood that flows in our veins is the water that flows through the rivers. Our lungs are like the great forests. Ourbreath like the gentle breeze, our bones, the mountains, rocks and minerals, the soil, our gut microflora.

We ourselves are nature.
I am always in such awe of this deep interconnectedness - especially when it comes to food!

🔃 Processed foods create trash outside, as they do within.
🌽Farming animals pollute and degrade outside, and give rise to diseases within.
Chemicals in foods destroy the soil and our microbiome within..

✅ It is with this understanding that self care - truly becomes earth care.

Navratri Recipe 🎇

✅ Here’s a delicious alternative to the fried aloo tikki for this Navratri. 🥔🥕🫑🥒

↔️ No offense to the aloo tikki, but our system thrives on diversity and the fried bit isn't exactlyhelping the fasting cause.

↔️ This one is a no oil (lower in calories) , full of veggies (more fiber and minerals) versionwith peanuts and flaxseed standing in for the good fat - which I am absolutely sure you willlove! 🥜
✅ Go ahead give it a try for one of your meals!

✨✨ Ingredients

· 1 cup bottle gourd, finely grated
· Half cup boiled raw banana (or potato) grated
· 1/3 cup carrot, chopped
· 1/3 cup spinach
· 1 tbsp flaxseed, powdered
· 1 tbsp coriander, chopped
· ½ tbsp mint leaves, chopped
· 1 tsp green chillies, finely chopped
· ½ tsp cumin seeds
· 1 tsp lemon juice
· ¼ tsp rock salt
· Extra flax seed powder + peanut powder for rolling

🌶️(Flax seed and peanut powders are made by blending dry flax seeds and peanuts separately ina blender powdery consistency).

✨✨ Method

1. To prepare the tikkis, add all the ingredients, except for salt and bottle gourd, toyour blender and blend till combined.
2. Take out this batter in a bowl.
3. Take out the grated bottle gourd and squeeze out the water from it.
4. Combine the squeezed bottle gourd with the batter.
5. Add salt to the batter right before rolling the tikkis.
6. Divide the mixture into 7 equal balls and flatten each ball to form a thin tikki.
7. Mix equal amounts of flaxseed and peanut powder together. Roll the tikkis in thepowder till they are evenly coated.
8. Heat a ceramic or cast iron pan and cook the tikkis on a medium flame. Press themusing a spatula till they are fully cooked and turn golden brown from both sides. Do
not use oil.
9. Serve hot with sweet date chutney.

Bhavna is a Thereaputic Chef, has 30 years of training in Iyengar Yoga and is deeply devoted to the study and practice of healing through the elements of nature. Bhavna’s personal experience of curing chronic sinus, gastric problems and borderline piles through shifts in diet and lifestyle gave her a clear mission – to Make Healthy Living Simple.

Bhavna helps people with Holistic and Nutrition Consults as well as runs Wellness Retreats across India.
