Head and Neck Cancers account for nearly 30% of all cancer cases in India. Despite being common, they are often diagnosed at an advanced stage, primarily due to low awareness and late recognition.
Early detection is critical. Regular screening can identify these
cancers when they are still treatable and survival rates are
significantly higher.

your loved ones from cancer.

Five Years of Courage, Care, and Commitment
24th July 2025 | Karkinos Healthcare

We didn’t just celebrate an anniversary — we honoured a journey.
A journey filled with courage, compassion, commitment… and most importantly, hope.
As Karkinos Healthcare marked its 5th year in advancing cancer care, we came together to celebrate our people, our patients, and our purpose. From the moving survivor testimonies to the joy of the Raksha Bandhan ceremony with our fighters — every moment reminded us why we began this mission.

This day was not just about our achievements —
It was about the lives touched.
The hands held during tough times.
The silent prayers, the tireless efforts, and the shared belief that cancer is not the end — but the beginning of a new fight.

To everyone who has been part of this journey — your trust, your courage, and your presence give meaning to our work every single day.

Here’s to saving more lives, touching more hearts, and building a future where cancer is not feared — but fought and defeated, together.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Team Karkinos

As International Cancer Survivors Month draws to a close, we shift our focus from survival to prevention. Don’t wait for symptoms. Don’t delay screening. Take charge now.

On World No To***co Day, Medella Karkinos Oncology Institute, in partnership with the Barrackpore Auto Union, reached out to a community that often goes unnoticed, over 100 auto-rickshaw drivers and their families with a mission to detect cancer early, raise awareness, and empower them to take charge of their health.

Through free health check-ups, cancer screenings, and to***co cessation counselling, this initiative was more than a screening camp. It was about taking cancer care beyond hospitals, into the heart of communities—where it’s needed the most.

Today, on World Family Doctor Day, we celebrate the unwavering commitment of family doctors — the first point of care, and often, the constant in a patient’s health journey.

At Karkinos Healthcare, we recognise their crucial role in protecting the health of our loved ones.

On 8th May, an interactive HPV vaccination and awareness drive was conducted at Shree Jain Hospital and Research Centre in collaboration with Karkinos Healthcare.

The doctors and nurses spoke to more than 200 people and administered vaccines to 90 children, emphasising how the HPV vaccine can save lives. The discussion included details on vaccine doses, different types, and the significance of early detection for cervical and breast cancers through HPV testing and routine screenings.

By staying informed and taking proactive steps like vaccination and regular screenings, we can work together to prevent cervical and breast cancers and protect the health of future generations.
