A CASE OF COLITIS

39years Male patient

Chief Complaints:

- Pain in abdomen
- Frothy and mucoid stool
- Weakness
- Laziness
- Acidity

Associated Complaints:

- Ringworm on gluteal region

Investigation:

- USG Abdomen: Mild non-specific inflammatory pathology involving long segment of distal/terminal ileum and caecum

Repertorization:

- Rubrics:

- Stool - Frothy

- Extremities - Eruptions - Nates

- Abdomen - Inflammation - Colon

- Skin - Eruptions - Ringworm

Treatment:

- Natrum Mur 0/1 TID for 2 weeks.

Follow-up:

- Significant relief in abdominal pain
- Significant improvement in ringworm symptoms.

A CASE OF DELIRIUM TREMENS
( DTS , Alcohol withdrawal delirium )

At one fine evening one of my colleague
friend called me to attend a patient admitted in multispeciality hospital.

In fact patient had got road accident while driving bike . Patient is alcoholic. During accident he got head injury so he undergone through craniotomy to remove hematoma.

Patient was in delirium , he becomes violent , hitting , shouting , abusive and biting. He tried to escape from hospital so has to restraint him. Threatening to his son and wife as he would jump down from window.

Two causative factors are important in this case , one is head injury and other is alcohol withdrawal.

Remedy :

Stramonium 200 stat.

Follow up - Patient slept sound within 15minutes after a dose of Stram. At second day patient discharged from hospital , once more they felt need to repeat same dose then there is no more attack of violence.

A 11 Years girl came with following complaints:

Pain & Redness about Rt. Foot when sitting down
Exostosis (Bony growth) on outer side of right foot.
Painful Corn on Rt. Sole of foot

PHYSICAL GENERALS :

Menarche: 5 months ago
Dysmenorrhea
Me**es delayed by 2 months.
Chilly+
Thirst++
Want of appetite
Sleep: position on Right Side.

MIND: She can't remember what she read.

FOLLOW UP:
Appetite improved.
Me**es appeared within 2 days after taking medicine.
Corn disappeared in 2 weeks.

No redness of foot.

■A CASE OF FISSURE■

A 35 year old lady Consulted with complaints of fissure. Medicines like Nitric Acid, phosphorus, sulphur failed to relieve pain of fissure, so reconsidered the totality.

C/O :

Tremendous pain after stool.
Type of pain: Stitching
Constipation : Hard stool followed by soft stool.
Per re**um bleeding during stool

A CASE OF FROZEN SHOULDER WITH SCIATICA

A male patient of 42years consulted with severe acute pain of right sciatica and left frozen shoulder.

Complaints :

Radiating pain in right lower limb from gluteal region to heel.

Pain and restricted movement in left shoulder , he could not raise shoulder.

Hyperacidity , profuse bilious vomiting.

Curiously I saw clinical rubric from complete dynamic repertory :

Extremities - Frozen , general, shoulders : Iod, Iris.

Through eliminating method this rubric is compared with next rubric :

Extremities - Pain - lower limbs - sciatica nerve
( Synthesis Repertory )

Only common Remedy in between these two rubric is Iris which is also well known for its bilious action on gastric mucosa (Boericke)

Rx
Iris 30 stat.

Follow up - Just within some minutes before leaving the clinic patient reported significant relief in both shoulder and sciatic pain.

A CASE OF HEMORRHOIDS WITH UTI

A middle age women consulted for her complaints of Hemorrhoids and UTI. She was severely suffering from burning pain in re**um and urethra.

Previous prescription Berb.v failed to relive complaints.

This time she entered in clinic and abruptly said , " Now dont ask me any more question , first relieve my burning pain ! "

Literally I shut up and calmly gave her a dose of medicine and asked her to wait for 15-20 minutes.

Follow up : I anxiously asked , "How are you now ?" She silently answered , "I am quite better ! ".

A CASE OF TENSION HEADACHE

A 40 years female had complaints of headache since 10months.

Left sided headache with pain in left sided eye, ear, throat and occoput .
She also feels fits of palpitation, nausea, vertigo,chilliness and weakness. Loss of taste.

Associated complaints :
Pain along right lower limb ( Sciatica)
Pain in joints since one month.

Desire sweet and pungent.

Hot but feel chilly when tensed.

Onset - 10 months ago she had frequent quarrels with her mother in law on the matter of property disputes.

Now she was on allopathic psychiatric medicines ( anxiolytic) and some analgesic medicines.

A 17 years old female patient came with complaints of protraced menstrual flow since 15 days.

A 9 years old boy came with his father with complaints of

● cough, headache, breathelessness , coryza & Fever since 3-4 days.

●Crackling cough with abdominal respiration & breathing through mouth.

● Asthmatic respiration

● Recurrent attacks of asthma since 3 years.

●Yawning with cough

Patient was very quick in answering questions, he answered his phone number,age and his complaints within seconds when asked; actually he answered even those questions which was expected to be answered by his parents.
He was constantly yawning with coughing.

Family History:
Paternal grandfather: Asthma

On Examination:
Respiratory system: Wheezing
SPO2 : 94%
Pulse rate: 116 bpm
