Block Level Workshop on Measles-Rubella Surveillance was successfully conducted today on 13/04/2026 at the Joint DHS Conference Hall, focusing on the Indo-Bangladesh international bordering BPHCs of South Salmara Mankachar district.

The workshop witnessed active participation from Addl. CM&HO cm DIO, ANMs, CHOs, MPWs, and Sectoral MOs from 19 Sub-Centres along the international border, along with SDM&HO, Block NHM Unit, DSO and team, Additional CM&HO (FW), District FW team, SMO-WHO, and NPSN Bongaigaon.

The session was highly interactive, with meaningful discussions and a clear plan of action laid out to strengthen surveillance and response mechanisms in the border areas.

A review meeting on the 2nd Phase of the 100 Days TB Mukta Abhiyan was convened on Monday, 06 April 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall of the Office of the Joint Director of Health Services, South Salmara Mankachar District.

The meeting was chaired by the Jt. DHS and attended by key officials including the DSO/DTO, Superintendent of District Hospital, SDM&HO (South Salmara BPHC), DPM, DCM, DME, DPC, BPMs of both blocks, BCM (South Salmara BPHC), along with other DPMU and NTEP staff. The session focused on reviewing progress, identifying gaps, and strengthening strategies to achieve TB-free targets under the अभियान.
