J&K SOTTO conducts a virtual meeting with the transplant hospitals of J&K.
All Transplant Hospitals of the UT of J&K joined the Virtual Meeting conducted by J&K State Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTTO) today.
Dr Elias Sharma, Nodal Officer SOTTO & HoD Urology and Renal Transplant, SSH while welcoming the delegates stressed the need for online organ donation pledging started by the Government of India on September,17.
Dr Sanjeev Puri, Joint Director informed that till date only 231 persons in J&K have registered for online pledging and requested the transplant hospitals of J&K for promotion of registration in the National Portal of Govt. of India ( https://notto.abdm.gov.in/ ) with their Aadhar linked mobile so that maximum no.of persons can pledge.
Participating Health Institutions were: SKIMS, Srinagar, GMC, Jammu, GMC, Srinagar, Command Hospital(NC) Udhampur,
Eye Care & Research Centre, Srinagar and Perfect vision Super Speciality Eye Hospital, Srinagar.
