My youngest patient :6 year old , her 15 mm kidney stone removed with the help of laser(RIRS); no cut, no bleeding, no stent kept after surgery, painless procedure... satisfaction.

If anyone among you or your friends has undergone a surgery related to kidney for example kidney stone, pyeloplasty etc, please confirm that if the stent which is usually placed in these operations, has been removed within 2 months of surgery or not.

Recently we removed a kidney stent which patient had forgotten for 6 years.

A forgotten stent can be life threatening and it is very difficult to manage its complications like infection, new stone formation or destruction of kidney.
