Mr. Tariq Parveez Mughal, Driver MMU under NHM, CMO Office Kishtwar, is suffering from a life-threatening disease viz Femoral Head Avascular Necrosis (Stage III). He is in urgent need of financial support for his treatment.

I request all NHM employees of Jammu Division as well as Kashmir Division including Doctors, Paramedical Staff, and Management Staff to kindly come forward and contribute as per your financial capacity to support him in this difficult time.

*NHM Employees Association Delegation Meets Mission Director NHM J&K at Rajouri*

Rajouri, 22nd Aug 2025:

Under the banner of All J&K NHM Employees Association Jammu Division, a delegation led by Provincial President Dr. Vikas Sharma along with Team Rajouri met Sh. Baseer-ul-Haq Choudhary (IAS), Mission Director NHM J&K, during his visit to District Rajouri on 22-08-2025.

The delegation extended a warm welcome to the Mission Director and held a detailed meeting with him. During the interaction, the association submitted a charter of demands highlighting the pressing issues of NHM employees. The major concern raised was the delay in salary disbursement, which has been causing severe hardships to the employees.

Other genuine issues were also discussed in detail, with the delegation emphasizing the need for timely redressal in the interest of NHM employees across the Union Territory.

Among others, the meeting was attended by senior NHM representatives of District Rajouri.

After giving a patient hearing, the Mission Director acknowledged the demands as genuine and assured the delegation that the department would take appropriate measures to address them at the earliest.

The Association expressed gratitude to the Mission Director for his positive response and concern towards the welfare of NHM employees.

Date: Srinagar, 17 June 2025

A Joint delegation of the All J&K NHM Employees Association, Kashmir Division, today called upon the newly Joined Mission Director National Health Mission JK Shri Baseer Ul Haq Choudary (IAS) at his Srinagar office and extended a warm welcome to him on his assumption of office.

The Mission Director in turn warmly received the delegation and a cordial and constructive meeting ensued regarding key concerns and long-pending issues faced by NHM employees.
The delegation highlighted the persistent delay in salary disbursements and reminded the Mission Director of earlier commitments made by previous officials which are under process and yet to be Fullfilled.
In response Shri Baseer Ul Haq Choudary (IAS) expressed solidarity with the employees' genuine concerns and assured the delegation that he is committed to resolving all legitimate issues in a time-bound and transparent manner.

The delegation expressed confidence that under his leadership NHM Jammu & Kashmir will not only witness enhanced efficiency and streamlining but will also see long-awaited employee issues being addressed decisively.

District President Mr Irfan kadoo said
we are fortunate enough that the founding member of Doctors Association Kashmir *DAK* has joined as CMO of our District.

He further added that the Newly joined CMO Sir is known for his honesty, dedication and commitment towards his job.

Vice President Association Mr Shabir Ahmad said that complete support will be provided to the Chair for the betterment of the society.

JKNHMEA Delegation Meets Health Minister: Assurances on Salary Release & Absorption Policy

Jammu, 10 March 2025

A delegation of the All Jammu & Kashmir National Health Mission Employees Association (JKNHMEA), led by Divisional President Jammu Dr. Vikas Sharma and Divisional President Kashmir Mr Muneer Andrabi, met with Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education J&K, Ms Sakeena Masood Itoo, at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu on 10-03-2025.

The delegation was accompanied by Hon’ble MLA Bani, Dr. Rameshwar Singh Ji, Hon’ble MLA Zainapora, Jenab Showkat Ahmad Ganai Sahab and Hon’ble MLA Rajpora, Jenab Ghulam Mohuddin Mir.

The meeting focused on the follow-up of the already submitted Charter of demands concerning NHM employees. The representatives emphasized the timely release of salaries for employees working under NHM, urging the Hon’ble Minister to take immediate action.

Additionally, the Association apprised the Minister of the clarification issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India (Letter No. Z.18015/12/2015-NRHM-II Pt (III), dated 24-Sep-2015), which states that the absorption of NHM employees is a decision to be made at the State/UT level.

Recognizing the critical role of NHM employees as the backbone of healthcare services, the Hon’ble Minister assured the delegation that she is committed to addressing their concerns. She immediately directed for a high-level meeting with health officials to develop a comprehensive way forward for resolving NHM employees' issues, including the absorption policy.

Furthermore, the JKNHMEA delegation also met Worthy Secretary of Health & Medical Education, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah (IAS), in his office. The delegation sought his personal intervention for ensuring the timely release of salaries. Acknowledging the issue, Dr. Shah assured that he has taken cognizance of the matter and has requested the Department of Finance and DG Resources to release the necessary funds for NHM employees at the earliest.

The JKNHMEA continues to work relentlessly on all platforms for the welfare and rights of NHM employees. The Association extends heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble MLAs for their unwavering support and guidance in advocating for NHM employees' rightful demands.

The Association reiterates its call for unity among NHM employees, urging them to stay strong and maintain faith in the Association’s efforts.
