Doctors are often erroneously considered "noble" by default, and this glorification creates unrealistic expectations. In such a disguise, their earnings are closely scrutinized, while many of their peers in less skill-intensive fields often earn far more without facing similar judgment. Society frequently places doctors on a pedestal, even calling them "next to God," which is a misleading notion.
Doctors are, in reality, ordinary human beings striving to earn their livelihood like anyone else. Yes, they must be held accountable and punished for malpractice or unethical behavior, but attaching a label of nobility to the profession is problematic. Such expectations can leave them economically constrained or, worse, push some toward corrupt practices to maintain a certain image or standard of living.
It’s healthier to view doctors as professionals providing a vital service—deserving respect, fair compensation, and accountability, but not mythologization.
