A meeting was held between ACDA and SCDA to discuss matters of mutual interest and collaboration on 26/07/2025 at Srinagar Chemists and Distributors Association (SCDA) office at karan Nagar Srinagar.
Anantnag Chemists and Distributors Association (ACDA) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting JKCDA and its affiliated units. Through this partnership, both associations aim to foster a stronger and more unified trade environment across the region.

It was with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of one of the senior most Pharmacist Kh.Ghulam Nabi Shigan c/o SHIGAN MEDICATE Batamaloo Srinagar. He was a truly esteemed and influential figure of entire Batamaloo locality and his contributions to patient care, particularly in ENT were immense.
​His dedication and pioneering spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working with him.
On behalf of Srinagar Chemists and Distributors Association (SCDA) we extend our sincerest condolences to his family members during this difficult time.
May Almighty Allah bless his soul and give courage to his family members to bear this irreparable loss.

Today Drug department Srinagar headquarters along with the team Srinagar Chemists and Distributors Association (SCDA) held a really at Srinagar to mark June 26th as World Drug Day, officially known as the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. This United Nations observance, held annually since 1989, aims to raise awareness and strengthen action and cooperation to achieve a world free of drug abuse.
The global drug problem is a multifaceted challenge impacting millions of lives, from individuals struggling with substance use disorders to communities grappling with drug trafficking and organized crime.
