With the support of UNICEF India, our team conducted a School Mental Health Outreach Program at Legends Public School, Kanitar Srinagar.

Students engaged in interactive sessions on:

Nurturing Adolescent Wellbeing | MPML Higher Secondary School, Srinagar

Our team conducted a School Mental Health Outreach Program at MPML Higher Secondary School, Srinagar with the support of UNICEF India.

From understanding mental health to addressing academic stress and adolescent challenges, the sessions encouraged students to speak openly- breaking silence and building resilience. Alongside group discussions, many students also received individual counseling, ensuring personal struggles were heard with care and compassion.

Together with teachers and students, we are working toward a future where mental health is seen as strength, not stigma.

These programs are possible only through the collaboration of DSEK and CEO Srinagar. We are truly indebted to them for their unwavering support in making mental health a priority in schools.

Climbing Hills, Reaching Hearts | Bagna Khoshamarg, Uri

Today, our team from CGWC–IMHANS Kashmir, with support from UNICEF India, trekked into the hilly terrains of Bagna Khoshamarg to conduct a Medical & Mental Health Outreach Camp.

In this remote area, where access to care is as steep as the mountains themselves, we reached hundreds of men, women, elderly, children, and adolescents with:

✅ Free psychiatric consultations
🗣️ Psychological counseling & trauma support
💊 Distribution of essential medicines & hygiene kits
📄 IEC materials on mental health
📞 Awareness on Tele-MANAS, the 24×7 mental health helpline.
