ASMITA KHELO INDIA YOGASANA CITY LEAGUE Witnesses Enthusiastic Participation at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar organised by J&K Yogasana sports Association under the authority of Yogasana Bharat

Srinagar, J&K – The ASMITA Khelo India Yogasana City League, an exclusive competition for women, was successfully held on March 22, 2025, at the Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar. The event saw an overwhelming response, with over 300 female participants from across the city showcasing their talent, discipline, and passion for Yogasana.

The competition was graced by Maqsood khan manager indoor sports complex as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honor included Fareeda Akhter national referee , Manager of SKISC, and Dr. Raqib Rasool, General Secretary of J&K Yogasana sports association shabir Ahmed dar senior Yogasana coach Their presence and support were instrumental in motivating the athletes and promoting Yogasana sports in the region.

The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of key individuals in the Yogasana sports community. Mr. Shabir Ahmad Dar (Senior Yogasana Coach), Ms. Zubida Lateef (National Yogasana Coach and Organizing Secretary of the Competition), Ms. Showkeya Qadir (General Secretary of District Ganderbal Yogasana Sports Association), and Mr. Altaf Bhat (President of J&K Yogasana Sports Association) played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth ex*****on of the competition.

The ASMITA Khelo India Yogasana City League provided a competitive platform for young female athletes to demonstrate their expertise and promote traditional sports under the Khelo India initiative. The event not only encouraged women's participation in Yogasana but also highlighted the growing interest in yoga-based sports in Jammu & Kashmir.

With a strong turnout and enthusiastic performances, the competition was a resounding success, paving the way for more such initiatives in the region.
