Dr. Manzoor Eye Care Centre has been involved in providing eye care in Kashmir Valley for about 50 Years . The centre was started in 1965 by Late Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, renowned Ophthalmologist of North India after completion of post graduation in Ophthalmology. dless of their economic status. He worked dedicatedly with grit & determination and restored eye sight to thousands of patients till the very last. He continued to do the good work even after his death by donating his own eyes which enabled two blind persons to see this beautiful world through his eye even today. The present setup, established in 2004, as a tribute to Late Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, is located in the heart of Srinagar city at Wazir Bagh, opposite Lal Ded Maternity hospital, just a few minutes walk from the business hub, Lal Chowk.
