As part of our World Mental Health Day observance, we organised the Young Voices for Mental Health speech event in collaboration with department of youth services and sports singhpora Pattan, where students from different schools came together to share their thoughts, stories, and reflections on mental well-being and community care.

It was truly inspiring to witness the confidence, creativity, and awareness these young participants brought to the stage. Their words reminded us that conversations around mental health must begin early — within our schools, families, and neighbourhoods.

This gathering reflected our shared commitment to nurture spaces where young people feel heard, valued, and supported in their emotional journeys.

We successfully hosted an Art for Mental Wellness session today, bringing together children from various schools in Zadibal. The session encouraged participants to express their thoughts and emotions through colours and creativity — reminding us how art can serve as a gentle bridge between the mind and heart. It was a joyful and meaningful experience, aimed at nurturing self-expression and emotional well-being among young participants.

This event was organized as part of our Mental Health Week 2025 celebrations, focusing on community engagement at the grassroots level. Throughout the day, several local residents stopped by, and we had the opportunity to engage in heartfelt conversations around mental health and wellness.

Art plays a powerful role in mental health — it allows individuals to externalize feelings, reduce stress, and find calm through the creative process. Such activities create safe spaces for connection and understanding within the community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the participating schools, our dedicated team on the ground, and all supporters for their valuable contribution and encouragement in making this event a success.

A journey together for Mental Health.

Today at Govt. Boys High School Singhpora, we organized a Mental Health Speech Programme under the theme Young Voices for Mental Health. It was heartening to see students openly share their thoughts on mental health. The session was not about competition, but about learning and engagement. For us, every student is a winner—because winners are those who try, learn, and grow.

Today at Kashmir Lifeline and Health Centre’s Baramulla HUB office in Palhallan, we hosted a vibrant quiz programme with students from various schools across North Kashmir.
This event was more than just a competition—it was a celebration of shared learning, youthful energy, and meaningful conversations around mental health.

Organised in collaboration with Parsa's Palhallan, the programme reflected our continued efforts toward reducing stigma, promoting wellbeing, and encouraging young minds to think, question, and grow together.

A big thank you, to all the participating schools, our partners, and guests who made this event special!
