Makkale,

The last time i did an exhibit was in the tail end month of 2019.

Things after that had become so difficult for all of us with sickness and strife. Many small businesses had shut down and i thought mine did too.

I had to discard so much of my raw materials that had to stay unused for around a year and i had to swallow huge losses in that regard.

Many of my loyal customers were in touch, asking for products but i was not in a position to sell. Thank you makkale, my tribe, for keeping me in your thoughts constantly.
Im extremely grateful and feel privileged.

Im starting afresh with limited stock and i look forward to your patronage that has been unwavering.

So.. Here's to rebirth and new beginnings.

Hello makkale,

Deepavali is right around the corner and our buddy maker, Chakra Health Care has come up with hampers with handmade products right from abhyanga oil to kumkum and lehyam that are processed from scratch.
All the products are made with pure herbs from recipes that have been in their vaidya family for generations.

दीपस्य आवलि यथाः दीपावली
Deepasya Aavali yetaha Deepavali.

Deepavali means the Row of Lights..It falls during Hemantha Rithu (early Winter). During this Season Vata And Kapha dominates the environment.

To balance these doshas during Hemantha we need to follow certain rituals mentioned in Ayurveda. To control vata dosha we need to apply oil all over the body and do slight massage. This is called as 'Abhayanga'. Tila taila (sesame oil) is very useful in balancing these doshas. It has wonderful healing properties. This particular oil has to be applied from head to toe to prevent Vata and Kapha domination during Hemantha Rithu where Deepavali occurs.
Red Chilli , Ashwagandha, Bala Tulisi are added to enrich the oil and give more benefits during Abhayanga.

When Sesame oil is applied to hair better to use Herbal powders to wash the hair which enriches the root and keeps the hair strong and shine.
For body a special herbal nalangu maavu is used to cleanse the body after oil bath.

Immediately after the oil bath Rasanadhi Choornam is appied on the Crown of the head to remove the unnecessary Kapha formation and prevent sinus which is common during Hemantha Rithu.

A herbal Jam called Deepavali Leghyam is consumed after the oil bath and in empty stomach to prevent indigestion . As on this Festival day it is normal to consume sweets and savories not only from our kitchen but from our friends and relatives too..

Its good practice to follow what is said in Ayurvedic texts for our well being and holistic life.

Right,
If the last updates are to be believed, we have 28 confirmed cases of corona infections in our country.
Time to ditch your DIY home remedies and go on the defensive.
Im putting down an effective, time-tested recipe I use in my workshop before I start manufacturing process.

80% denatured ethyl alcohol (available in Amazon.in)
10% glycerine
10% fragrance ( I prefer citrus).

That's it.

Pour one after the other into a 100ml spray bottle and spray away.

Seal the lid with tape as ethyl alcohol vaporises just like that and store upright n a dark place, far away from flammable substances and electric conduits. Just one spark is what it takes to ignite the whole thing.

Do not store this near windows, heat sources or in your car. Extremely dangerous but very effective in disinfecting anything it lands on.

If anyone has an idea to make this in bulk and distribute (for free) to school kids and economically disadvantaged people with proper sensitisation, I'm all for it.

Hit me with your ideas.
