આપણી આજુબાજુ ઘણા બધા કિસ્સાઓ એવા સામે આવતા હોય છે જેમાં મહિલાને પ્રેગનેન્સી સાથે ડાયાબીટીસ હોય છે. આ સમયે માતા અને પિતા બન્ને ગર્ભાવસ્થા પહેલા અને પછી પણ ચિંતિત હોય છે. આવા સમયે ખરેખર ચિંતિત થવા કરતા "યોગ્ય માર્ગદર્શન અને યોગ્ય તબીબી સલાહ મળેતો તંદુરસ્ત રીતે બાળકણો જન્મ થઇ શકે છે....

જે મહિલાઓને પ્રકાર 1 ડાયાબિટીસ હોય તેઓ સુરક્ષિત ગર્ભાવસ્થા અને તંદુરસ્ત બાળક ધરાવી શકે છે, પરંતુ ડાયાબિટીસની જટિલતાઓને મોનિટર કરવી મહત્વપૂર્ણ છે જે સમગ્ર ગર્ભાવસ્થા દરમિયાન વધુ ખરાબ થઈ શકે છે. * ગર્ભાવસ્થા દરમિયાન જો ડાયાબીટીસ હોય તો યોગ્ય માર્ગદર્શન ખુબજ જરૂરી છે.*

ગર્ભાવસ્થા દરમિયાન ડાયાબિટીસનું નબળું નિયંત્રણ બાળક માટે જન્મજાત ખામી અને અન્ય સમસ્યાઓની શક્યતાઓ વધારે છે. તે સ્ત્રી માટે ગંભીર ગૂંચવણોનું કારણ પણ બની શકે છે. ગર્ભાવસ્થા પહેલાં અને દરમિયાન યોગ્ય આરોગ્ય સંભાળ જન્મજાત ખામી અને અન્ય સ્વાસ્થ્ય સમસ્યાઓને રોકવામાં મદદ કરી શકે છે. *માટે ગર્ભાવસ્થા દરમિયાન જો ડાયાબીટીસ હોય તો યોગ્ય માર્ગદર્શન ખુબજ જરૂરી છે.*

જો તમે સ્વસ્થ હોવ અને જ્યારે તમે ગર્ભવતી થાઓ ત્યારે તમારી ડાયાબિટીસ સારી રીતે નિયંત્રિત હોય, તો તમારી પાસે સામાન્ય ગર્ભાવસ્થા અને જન્મ થવાની સારી તક છે. ડાયાબિટીસ કે જે સગર્ભાવસ્થા દરમિયાન સારી રીતે નિયંત્રિત ન હોય તે તમારા સ્વાસ્થ્યને લાંબા સમય સુધી અસર કરી શકે છે અને તમારા બાળક માટે જોખમી પણ હોઈ શકે છે. *માટે ગર્ભાવસ્થા દરમિયાન જો ડાયાબીટીસ હોય તો યોગ્ય માર્ગદર્શન ખુબજ જરૂરી છે.*
