An elderly diabetic male patient with H/O fever, dyspnoea, sore throat, inability to swallow having upper airway obstruction, respiratory arrest, respiratory failure- emergency resuscitation and stabilisation done- Dr Namrata Vithalani ( Physician and Intensivist), ICU and emergency Medical officer and staff,

CECT neck done - Patient diagnosed having acute epiglottis, epiglottic abscess,

causing life threatening airway oedema and obstruction,

Tracheostomy done by Dr Abhi Modi ( ENT surgeon)

With other supportive medical care patient improved and was discharged after 10 days of hospitalisation 😁
