17y boy had Ocular trauma. He had corneal tear with traumatic cataract and vitrous haemorrhage. Management was done in two steps. 1st , corneal tear repair was performed and after 1 week vitrectomy+lensectomy+ IOL implantation done. Patient gained his vision again (BCVA: 6/12)

Case of Membrane over IOL :- Patient has hazy media due to thick membrane over IOL which is shown in 1st pic.
2nd pic shows clear vision restored following Membrane removal by Yag Laser.

Posterior capsulotomy by yag laser is routine procedure . Few patient develops thick membrane over IOL due to chronic inflammation and suffer from dimness of vision such patient can also be managed by yag laser .
