એનિમિયા એ એવી સ્થિતિ છે જેમાં લોહીમાં લાલ રક્તકણોની અપૂરતી માત્રાને કારણે શરીરમાં પેશીઓને ઓક્સિજનનો પુરવઠો ઓછો મળે છે. પરિણામે બાળકમાં આયર્નની ઉણપ સર્જાય છે. બાળકમાં એનિમિયા હોવાના કેટલાક લક્ષણો અમે અહીં જણાવ્યા છે. જો તમારા બાળકમાં પણ આ લક્ષણો જણાય તો તાત્કાલિક બાળરોગ ચિકિત્સકની સલાહ લેવી જરૂરી છે.

ડાયાબિટીસ એ એક એવી સ્થિતિ છે જેમાં શરીર લોહીમાં ગ્લુકોઝના સ્તરને યોગ્ય રીતે નિયંત્રિત કરી શકતું નથી. 10 થી 15 વર્ષની વયના બાળકોમાં ટાઇપ 1 ડાયાબિટીસ વધુ સામાન્ય છે, જેમાં શરીર ઇન્સ્યુલિન બનાવતું નથી. ઘણીવાર બાળકોમાં ટાઇપ 2 ડાયાબિટીસ પણ વધુ વજન અને અસ્વસ્થ જીવનશૈલીના કારણે જોવા મળી શકે છે.
