Looking back, I never knew how far I’d go. Moving to Surat after getting married was a big change—I didn’t know anyone in the new city, but I pushed through every challenge because I wanted to do something meaningful, something that would help me grow and contribute to the world around me. Mental health was often misunderstood, and there were tough moments. But every day, I focused on making the most of that day, striving to make it better than the last. Little by little, those small efforts made me stronger, bolder, and more confident. I followed my heart and trusted what I needed to do in each moment. Maybe I didn’t know exactly where I was headed, but I believed that by giving my all today, I’d get closer to my dreams in the long run. And that belief has carried me through.
I also knew that skill development was a key way to prevent mental health issues by helping people understand what they wanted and how to feel more confident and resilient in facing life’s challenges. That’s exactly what I focused on while mentoring students.
This award is for the dedication I’ve had since 2018, mentoring aspiring chartered accountants each month, helping them grow, build confidence, and live a more fulfilling life.
