Hamstring stretch or strengthen?
An old dilemma.🤔
Hamstring is a 2 joint muscle which crosses the hip and knee joint. Hence, most of the time it is seen that people with anterior pelvic tilt are likely to have overstretched hamstring muscle which eventually becomes weak and doesn't actively contract.
Hamstring stretch might provide temporary relief but it's not a solution 😔
The solution to this problem is:
1. Isolated Activation of the hamstring muscle.
2. Active strengthening of hamstring complex (biceps femoris , semimembranosus,semitendinosus)
3. Postural correction (which is the root cause).
