🚨 🚨 Mobile phone📲📱 addiction in childrens
Too much screen time in babies under 2 years can affect early brain development because this period is critical for learning language, attention, and social skills.
Studies show that increased screen exposure in toddlers is linked to delayed speech, weaker problem-solving ability, and reduced parent–child interaction. A large study published in JAMA Pediatrics found that every extra 30 minutes of daily screen time at 18 months was associated with poorer communication and cognitive scores by ages 2–3.
Screens do not directly “damage” the brain, but they replace essential activities like talking, eye contact, movement, and play, which are needed to build healthy neural connections. That is why organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization recommend avoiding screen time for children under 18–24 months (except for video calls) and encouraging real-world interaction instead.
