A tale of fertility and hopes :
We feel blessed , when our overseas IVF parents specially visit us to meet us and to show us our grown up IVF miracle🤩!
Meet Mrs Milinda and Mr Vivek patel from Texas, USA & their little champ😍. For them road and to reach the destination to parenthood were not easy! They were married for 7 years snd had undergone 2 failed IVF treatments in USA . When they met our fertility snd IVF expert , they were concerned for 2 things. Firstly , they wanted a healthy and genetically normal baby due to their age factor and secondly , after undergoing 2 stressful failed IVF treatments, they wanted to increase chances of success in this 3rd IVF cycle- In fact , they gave Dr Rupal an ultimatum saying: “Doctor, this is our last try- If the cycle you do here is also failed, they we don’t want children at all in our life.”
But , Every cloud has a silver lining… After Dr Rupal’s proper counselling and explanation , they underwent their 3rd IVF treatment along with Pre-Implantation Genetic Testing (PGT-A) and in this cycle , they conceived, returned to their country with smiles on their faces and delivered a health baby boy at USA🙂!

A story of Fertility and Hopes:

This patient is from Maharashtra and married for 6 years.

She conceived in her 3rd treatment of IVF.
When she was 6 weeks, she called me from her town with tears in her Eyes- “doctor, I am bleeding heavily- my local doctor is advising to terminate this pregnancy S baby is not growing well”.
I looked at her scanned sonography report which she sent me, and advised her some treatment and to continue the pregnancy.

And today she specially came all the way from Maharashtra to get consultation by me with 14 weeks alive healthypregnancy & with tears of joy in her eyes and my favourite chocolate😍!

આજે તમારી સાથે મારે મોઝામ્બિકની મારિયાની વાત શેર કરવી છે. મારિયાની આ કહાની એ દરેક સ્ત્રીએ વાંચવી જોઇએ-જેને બાળકની ઝંખના છે, ખૂબ પ્રયાસો કર્યા પછી જેને પ્રેગ્નન્સી નથી રહેતી. આ વાત માતૃત્વની જીદની વાત છે, આ વાત માતૃત્વની ઝંખનાની છે, આ વાત ‘આશા’ પરનાં વિશ્વાસની છે, આ વાત નિરાશા પર મેડિકલ સાયન્સનાં વિજયની છે !

A story of perseverance and hope:

Maria's journey from Mozambique to India, from multiple surgeries to IVF treatments, serves as a testament to the power of determination, the expertise of medical professionals, and the unwavering hope that propels us toward our dreams.

She is a 40-year-old Mozambican, married at 20 years. She had faced numerous obstacles on her journey towards motherhood, undergoing four surgeries in her home country to address her uterine and ovarian issues. Determined not to give up, Maria set her sights on India, with hopes of finding a solution to her fertility challenges. Maria's fifth surgery was done at Rupal Hospital, in which we removed multiple large fibroids laparoscopically and she returned to Mozambique safely after 2 weeks of that surgery which was done in 2020.
Few months later, she returned to India filled with new hopes to undergo IVF treatment. Maria had to face failure in first two IVF attempts. However, my unwavering commitment to my infertile patient’s motherhood dreams kept Maria's hopes alive.
And With Maria's determination and our IVF team’s expertise and confidence, the third IVF treatment was successful 😍!Against all odds, Maria became pregnant, realizing the dream she had held onto so dearly for more than 20 years🫄.
Nine months later, when Maria proudly held a cute baby girl in her arms, her heart was overflowing with gratitude for her Indian doctor and her team❤️.

“The treatment I was given was incredible by my doctor, Dr. Rupal, other doctors and assistants at Rupal hospital. Although I didn't speak English, but the language was never a barrier as the doctor used Google translator to communicate with me in Portuguese😊! ગઇકાલે WORLD IVF DAY હતો. રૂપલ હોસ્પિટલે આ દિવસને થોડો જુદી રીતે સેલિબ્રેટ કર્યો. આઇ.વી.એફની મદદથી જન્મેલા બચ્ચાંઓ અને અમારા મેન્ટર ડો.માલતી શાહનાં હસ્તે ડો.રૂપલ શાહ લિખિત FERTILITY HOPES પુસ્તકનું વિમોચન કરાયું. આ પુસ્તકમાં એવી કહાનીઓ છે-જ્યાં માતૃત્વ અને પિતૃત્વ માટેનો સંઘર્ષ છે, ખૂબ સંઘર્ષ પછી હસી પડતી માતાની મુસ્કાન છે અને પિતાને પોતાનો અંશ એક્સટેન્ડ થયાની ખુશી છે…આ પુસ્તકમાં આઇ.વી.એફ ની આધુનિક સારવાર વિશેની માહિતીઓ પણ છે.

આ પુસ્તકનાં વિમોચન બાદ બધા બચ્ચાઓએ ખૂબ મસ્તી કરી, સાથે મળીને ઝૂમ્યા. આઇ.વી.એફ ડે માટેની સ્પેશિયલ કેક કાપી. રૂપલ હોસ્પિટલે આ બચ્ચાંઓને સરપ્રાઇઝ ગિફ્ટ આપી. રૂપલ હોસ્પિટલ કુદરતની ફર્ટિલિટી માટે પણ સજાગ છે અને ગ્રીન એન્વાયરોમેન્ટ માટે હંમેશા સજાગ રહે છે, એનાં પ્રતીક રૂપે અમે માતા-પિતાને એક નાનકડું કુંડૂ આપ્યું.

ખૂબ સંઘર્ષ પછી પણ માતા-પિતા ન બની શકતા કપલનું માતા-પિતા બનવાનું સપનું આઇ.વી.એફની મદદથી સાકાર થઇ શકે છે. તમે જ્યારે કોઇનાં સપનાંને સાચું પાડવામાં એમને મદદરૂપ થાવ છો અને સપનું સાચું પડ્યા પછી એમનાં ચહેરા પર રહેતી મુસ્કાન જુઓ છો-ત્યારે એક અનેરા સંતોષની લાગણી થતી હોય છે. ગઇકાલે રૂપલ હોસ્પિટની ટીમે પણ આવી લાગણી અનુભવી...

આજે ડોક્ટર્સ ડે છે -આજે સવારથી મને ડોક્ટર્સ ડેની બહુ બધી વિશ મળી રહી છે. હું નાનપણમાં જ્યારે મારી ડોક્ટર મમ્મી- માલતી મમ્મીને હોસ્પિટલ જતા જોતી અને તેમના ડોકટરી જ્ઞાન અને અનુભવથી દર્દીઓને સાજા કરતા અને ત્યારબાદ દર્દીઓના પ્રેમ અને દુઆઓ મેળવતા જોતી, ત્યારથી મારા મનમાં નક્કી હતું કે મારે મોટા થઇને ડોક્ટર જ બનવાનું છે !! ડોક્ટરની ડિગ્રી મળી ત્યારે ઓથ લીધેલી-કોઇપણ સંજોગોમાં, કોઇપણ પરિસ્થિતિ વચ્ચે મારું ફોકસ હંમેશા મારા દર્દીઓ જ રહેશે…!! એ ઓથને આજે પણ પ્રમાણિકતા સાથે નિભાવી રહી છું. આજે ડોક્ટર્સ ડે પર એ પ્રત્યેક વ્યક્તિ સાથે મારે એક વાત શેર કરવી છે-જે જીવનમાં ક્યારેક ને ક્યારેક દર્દીનાં રૂપમાં ડોક્ટરની સામે બેસતા હોય છે. એમાં હું પણ આવી ગઇ અને તમે પણ. પણ હમણાં કેટલાક વર્ષોથી મે અને મારા મોટાભાગના ડોક્ટર મિત્રોએ અનુભવ્યું છે કે અમારી એટલે કે ડોકટરની સામેની ખુરશીમાં દર્દીના રૂપમાં ગુગલ ડોકટરો બેસવા માંડ્યા છે. અને ઘણી વખત અમને તેમના મેડિકલ પ્રોબ્લેમ વિશે શીખવાડવા માંડ્યા છે, જે અમને તકલીફ આપે છે.

આપણને બધાને એક આદત પડી છે, કંઇપણ હોય સૌથી પહેલા એને ગુગલ કરવાની…! ગુગલ પર બીજું ઘણું સર્ચ કરી શકાય પણ તમારી બિમારી, તમારી ટ્રીટમેન્ટ, તમારી દવાઓ ક્યારેય સર્ચ નહીં કરતા. અને જો સર્ચ કરો તો તમારા રોગ અથવા એની સારવાર વિશે તમારા પૂરતી બેઝિક માહિતી મેળવવા અથવા એવિશે દુનિયા માં ચાલતા લેટેસ્ટ રિસર્ચ નું જ્ઞાન મેળવવા સર્ચ કરો. પણ, જ્યારે તમે ડોક્ટરને બતાવવા જાવ છો, ત્યારે જેને બતાવો છો એનાં પર સંપૂર્ણ વિશ્વાસ અને શ્રદ્ધા મૂકી દો કારણ કે તમારી શ્રદ્ધા અને વિશ્વાસ ડોક્ટર માટે એક પાવર બેંકની જેમ કામ કરતા હોય છે.
દરેક વ્યક્તિનું શરીર જુદું હોય છે. દરેક વ્યક્તિનું શરીર જુદી વાતો પર રિએક્ટ કરતું હોય છે. કોઇ દવા કોઇ દર્દીને માફક આવતી હોય છે-તો એ જ દવા બીજા દર્દીને માફક ન આવે એવું પણ બની શકે. તમારા શરીરને જેટલું તમે નથી ઓળખતા, એટલું તમારા ડોક્ટર ઓળખતા હોય છે અને એટલે તમારા શરીરની તકલીફો સાથે જોડાયેલા એક્યુરેટ જવાબો ગુગલ પરથી ક્યારેય નહીં મળે. જ્યારે તમે માંદા પડો છો, તમને હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરવા પડે છે, તમારી સર્જરી કરવી પડે છે ત્યારે ગુગલ તમને ચેક કરવા, તમારી સર્જરી કરવા નથી આવવાનું-એ તમારા ડોક્ટર જ કરવાનાં છે અને એટલે ગુગલને તમારું ડોક્ટર ન બનાવો. બાકી, ગુગલ તો ઇન્ટરનેટ હશે ત્યાં સુધી જ તમારી સાથે હોય-અમે કોઇપણ પરિસ્થિતિ, કોઇપણ સંજોગોમાં તમારી સાથે જ રહીશું…

અમે એને બધું ઇશારામાં સમજાવતા. એ પણ અમારી સાથે ઇશારામાં વાત કરતી. થોડું અમે સમજતા, થોડું સમજવા માટે સંઘર્ષ કરતા. એ સાંભળી કે બોલી શકતી ન્હોતી-પણ એક વાત એણે અમને બરાબર સમજાવી અને એ વાત હતી, ‘ડોક્ટર, કંઇપણ થઇ જાય-મારે મા બનવું જ છે-બસ !!’

જ્યારે તમે ઇશ્વરનાં વિશેષ સર્જન હોવ છો ત્યારે તમારો સંઘર્ષ પણ વિશેષ થઇ જાય છે. એનાં લગ્નને 15 વર્ષ થઇ ગયા હતા. આ પંદર વર્ષમાં બાળક મેળવવા એણે ખૂબ સંઘર્ષ કર્યો. 10 વખત આઇ.વી.એફની સારવાર લીધી. 10 વખતની આઇ.વી.એફ સારવારમાં બે વખત તો મિસ કેરેજ થઇ ગયા. ત્રીજી વખત પ્રેગ્નન્સી રહી પણ હાઇપર ટેન્શનને કારણે છઠ્ઠા મહિને પ્રિ-મેચ્યોર્ડ ડિલીવરી થઇ-બે ટ્વીન્સ બચ્ચાઓ જન્મ્યા પણ જીવી ના શક્યા.

એ કશુંપણ બોલ્યા વિના આ સમય જીવતી રહી. સંઘર્ષો પસાર કરતી રહી, પરીક્ષાઓ આપતી રહી. પણ એકધારું અંધારુ ક્યારેક ને ક્યારેક એકાદા સૂરજને સાથે લઇ જ આવે છે. એની સાથે પણ એવું જ થયું. ફાઇનલી, એને પ્રેગ્નન્સી રહી અને આજે એનાં હાથમાં એક મજાનો-હેલ્ધી દિકરો રમી રહ્યો છે…

જેટલો આનંદ એને થયો, એટલો જ આનંદ ટીમ રૂપલ હોસ્પિટલને પણ થયો…એની સાથે એની ભાષામાં વાત કરવાની અમારી કોશિષ સફળ રહી !!
