Every year on this day, we celebrate the harvest season - the day that brings to fruition all the deeds done in the past year and from hereon, it is a new beginning - sowing of seeds for the next year.
This year, although has been an unexpected one so far, the way we as global citizens have together fought COVID19 is commendable. The government's efforts to contain it and people's support to the authorities has helped India flatten the curve for this contagion. And today brings hope - for a brighter future, when we can put all of this behind us.
Here's hoping that all of us find a new hope today - a new beginning.

While these are difficult times, there's one positive that we must all focus on - the Earth is healing - it is now finally becoming greener and cleaner - while mother Earth loves all its children equally, it is definitely a time for us to reflect upon our actions and once all of this is over, practice ways to keep the planet healthy. From completely avoiding plastic usage to recycling - could be step one. Using the upgraded and more environment friendly BSVI vehicles helping in a huge drop in harmful emissions to using CNG/LPG fuel types or electric could be step two. There are a hundred other ways to contribute. We can all do our bit, all it takes is to be resolute.
In the meantime, support the government and the authorities in their initiatives.
