I'm happy to share my recent case..
Performed a successful *PDA Device* Closure in *810gm neonate* using PICCOLO device which is world's smallest device for PDA closure with USFDA approval..
( *1st time in Gujarat* in such a low weight baby).

Baby was kept on ventilator for couple of days after procedure and was successfully extubated later. Now baby is doing well on RT feeding without oxygen support.

Pre procedure, the baby was given 2 cycles of PCM and Ibuprofen for medical closure of ductus but didn't work and later was referred for surgery but on Echo the ductus anatomy looked suitable for device hence was taken for the same..

Special thanks to my Cath lab team, my NICU team and my cardiac anesthesiologist Dr Vikesh Revdiwala for making this difficult task possible..🙏🙏🙏
