Cardiac MR Tractography and DTI
Diffusion-tensor Imaging (DT)of the entire human heart can be performed in vivo by using simultaneous multisection (SMS) excitation with a blipped-controlled aliasing in parallel imaging readout.
There are, however, major challenges for cardiac ‘Because of the movement, there is a need for advanced motion freezing techniques, for spatial and temporal resolution and the complexity of myocardial architecture also pose challenges.
DTI is an evolving discipline and one that is revealing stunning images that will help in the diagnostic process, particularly with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
Histological studies have shown that the myocardium consists of an array of crossing helical fiber tracts,Changes in myocardial fiber architecture occur in ischemic heart disease and heart failure, and can be imaged non-destructively with diffusion-encoded MR.

The International Day of Radiology (IDoR 2021) was celebrated by Guru Kashi University College of Paramedical Sciences.

November 8 is observed annually as "World Radiography Day" to commemorate the discovery of X-radiation (X-rays), on November 8, 1895.

Guru Kashi University celebrated the day with the aim of building greater awareness of the value that radiology contributes to safe patient care. In 2021, the International Day of Radiology is dedicated to "Interventional Radiology" and its essential role in treating patients.
