Radial head fracture is common in young adults following trauma. Sometimes it can be fixed but not always. This patient had a RTA and had Comminuted fracture radial head which couldn't be fixed. So, what we did is, excision of radial head and then replacement of radial head with prosthesis.
This allowed him full range of motion with preservation of lateral restraints..

This 21 year lady fell on outstretched hand and came to my clinic with a swelling of elbow and inability to move the elbow. Immediately xray was taken and diagnosed as # capitulam. This is a complicated fracture and often missed. However , operation was performed and the end result is quite impressive..

After a long time I am back again. This 3 years old boy came to my clinic with a broken elbow following fall while playing at home. After a careful examination, it was seen that he had supracondylar fracture of humerus. Patient was prepared for fixation and you can see the end result!
A proper intervention is always rewarding..

Both bone fore arm is very common in young children most commonly caused by fall during playing. A proper reduction and union is very much essential to have a good union with maintained range of motion. Closed reduction and internal fixation is a key hole surgery and offers very good result.

Distal radius fracture is very common. But most of the people go for plaster. There are many types of distal radius fractures. This one is comminuted and have DRUJ injury. That's why operation has been done. DRUJ reconstruction done using ulno radial k wire.

Galeazzi # is very common now a days. This 52 years old male came to my clinic with swelling of forearm and wrist following fall. On examination, swelling with deformity of the limb was found. Xray shows distal 1/3 shaft radius with DRUJ injury. Patient was prepared for operation and this was the end result. DRUJ joint reconstruction was done using ulno radial k wire.
