IN LOVING MEMORY OF MA'AM MONIMALA

With deep sorrow, we share the sad news of the passing of Ma'am Monimala, a cherished and dedicated teacher who served with great love and commitment.

Ma'am Monimala was not only a senior and experienced educator but also a gentle, caring, and compassionate soul who touched the lives of countless students and Sisters. Her life was a beautiful example of quiet dedication, patience, and sincere affection for all those she taught and worked with.

We remember her with gratitude and affection, and we pray that her soul may rest in the peace of Christ.

Let us hold her in our prayers and give thanks for the gift she was in our lives and in the mission of education.

Motivational Talk and Career Counselling are the important inter disciplinary part of Educational Curriculum under the Guidelines of NEP 2020. Motivational Talk often boost self esteem and confidence among the students ,helping them to realise their potentials and talents. Similarly Career Counselling also helps students to understand their strengths, interests and personality traits and align them with suitable career path. Today the authority of St.Joseph's Convent H.S School in association with the Past Pupils Association successfully conducted the Motivational and Career Counselling Session for the students of Class VI, VII and VIII at the school premises. Motivational Speaker Dr.Tridip Kalita was invited as the Resource Person for the session. All the students were highly benefitted with each and every topic discussed during the interactive session of the Program.
The Office bearers of Past Pupils Association sincerely expressed their gratitude to the School Principal Respected Sr. Scolastica Kerketta for her support and guidance to conduct the program. Heartfelt gratitude to the Respected Resource Person Dr. Tridip Kalita for the enriching session which will benefit the students for their academic excellence as well their personality development.

Hearty Congratulations to Charlene Mahalia of Batch 2020 for her glorious achievement in the National Youth Festival held at Amity University ,Noida from 3 March to 6 March 2025. Charlene won second prize in Western Solo song Competition. Stay blessed always dear Charlene Mahalia.

Successful Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp was conducted at the premises of St.Joseph's Convent School, Tezpur. Dr.Dwipen Mahanta, Dr. Tul Tul Goswami, Dr. Krishna Priya Banerjee were the medical resource persons of the Camp. Honorable M.L.A Sri Prithiraj Rabha and Ma'am Agnes Rao ( Senior Past Pupil 1971 Batch & Former Teacher of Convent School) has graced the Awareness Camp.

Shraddhanjali Program was observed to pay tribute to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika on his 13th Death Anniversary today( 5 Nov ) at St.Joseph's Convent H.S School organised by Past Pupils Association. The program was started by saying a prayer for the departed soul of Dr.Bhupen Hazarika by Ma'am Prerna Borah. Floral Tribute was given on the potrait of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. The cultural performance was done by the members of the Association. Jupitora kakati and Jigyasita Garg performed a dance on the song Mahabahu Brahmaputra. Madhuri Ghosh and Tuhi Das performed on the song Bristino paro re song. Bristi Hazarika sang the melodious song Manuhe Manuhor babe-and musical instrument was played by Ayuska Das. Superior Sr. Agnes delivered and enriching speech on the life history and cultural contribution of the legendary Singer.

Ma'am Liza Talukdar is appointed as Co- District Commissioner of Kaliabor and Ma'am Sanghamitra Baruah is appointed as Co-District Commissioner of Naharkatiya. We are happy and proud of them for holding prestigious administrative posts of Assam Govt.
