My Passion & Purpose: Elderly Care

Hello Friends,

I am Dr. Sriniwas Thakur, resident of Thane City.

I am a Consultant Geriatrician (an Elderly Care Specialist Physician).

Geriatrics or Geriatric Medicine is a specialty that focuses exclusively on the healthcare of Senior Citizens (60 years of age and above), dealing with all the medical problems commonly faced by the elderly.

I am keenly involved in promoting "Healthy and Active Ageing" and raising awareness about "Geriatric Medicine" through my lectures, CME's, newspaper articles and public talks across Mumbai.

I truly believe that the Elderly, who have provided and contributed towards the well-being of their children, community and society, indeed do deserve a comprehensive and holistic care.

I always passionately strive to provide the best possible care, through my expertise in my speciality, to help the elderly live a successful, healthy, active and independent life.

Regarding my credentials:

I am a distinction holder in MBBS with individual subject distinctions in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics and Topper of a medical college in Final Year MBBS.

I have done externship from Seth G. S. Medical college & KEM Hospital, Mumbai.

I have completed M. D. Geriatric Medicine Residency from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, the most prestigious medical institute in India.

Currently I am attached as Consultant Geriatrician (an Elderly Care Specialist Physician) at renowned hospitals like Jupiter Hospital Thane, Bethany Hospital Thane, Kaushalya Hospital Thane & Godbole Hospital Thane

My Private Consulting OPD is at Spectrum Clinic Thane (Near Malhar Cinema, Opposite Vodafone Gallery).
