✨ Day 1: The Shine Project Begins! ✨
Today we start our 100-day journey to Calm, Confidence & Courage—and we’re kicking it off with the simplest (and most powerful) habit of all: Balloon Breath 🌬️🎈
Why we’re starting here:
💛 Just a few slow breaths can calm racing thoughts.
💛 It tells the brain and body, “You’re safe.”
💛 It builds a foundation for focus, better moods, and stronger confidence.
Here’s how to do it with your child:
1️⃣ Sit tall.
2️⃣ Inhale through the nose—imagine blowing up a giant balloon.
3️⃣ Exhale slowly through the mouth—let the balloon gently deflate.
4️⃣ Repeat 5 times.
👩👧 Parent tip: Ask your child to pick a balloon color and “see” it in their mind as they breathe—it makes it fun and memorable.
