Bhaktivedanta Health Care Centre in association with Apoorva Diagnostic and Health Care bring to you in public interest Covid Vaccination Do's and Dont's. Kindly save this post for future reference.

Do's:
✅ Drink lots of water.
✅ Eat a well-balanced diet.
✅ Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep.
✅ Do some light exercise.
✅ Consult your doctor before vaccination if you are on steroids or blood thinners.
✅ Continue Covid-19 appropriate behavior like wearing mask, sanitizing and washing hands.
✅ Apply ice pack or a clean, cool & wet cloth over the arm after the vaccination to reduce pain.
✅ Vaccinated lactating mothers should continue breastfeeding.

Don'ts:
❎ Avoid alcohol & to***co for 3 days after vaccination.
❎ Avoid any strenuous physical activity for at least 2-3 days after vaccination.
❎ Do not panic due to side-effects like pain in the arm or fatigue but consult your physician in case of any severe side-effects.
❎ Do not delay in consulting your doctor if you experience Covid-19 symptoms even after vaccination as No vaccine has 100% success rate.
❎ Do not feel safe-guarded against Covid-19 after the 1st dose. It takes at least 15 days to develop immunity after the 2nd dose.
