Ans. Yes,if diabetes is not controlled it can lead to Frequent change in glasses,CATARACT, damage retina, swelling in layers of retina and also can lead to permanent vision loss if proper care is not taken.

So regular visits to your Ophthalmologist and Physician are necessary.

Most commonly asked Question by most of my Patients.

Q. Can we use ROSE WATER to clean our eyes???

Ans. NO.
Rose water, tap water, milk or any of such fluids are not safe for our eyes,As the pH of our tear film and that of these fluids are very different thus disturbing the healthy tear film layer of our eyes and causing more problems.

Instead visit your Ophthalmologist and get APPROPRIATE Tear film supplements or artificial tears eye drops which you can safely use regularly.
