Last year, our employees at Ambernath and Satara manufacturing facilities welcomed Lord Ganesha by creating unique idols from everyday materials on their shop floor. Each idol was more than a creation; it was a reflection of purity, devotion, and the strength of imagination that transforms the simple objects into divine forms.

As we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi this year, these renditions continue to inspire us, reminding us that devotion lies in the spirit we bring, not the material we use.

🌍 This World Environment Day, we’re turning sunshine into sustainability

As part of our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, we installed rooftop solar panels of over 700 KW capacity at our manufacturing sites in Ambernath and Satara, Maharashtra from 2022 to 2024. This much solar energy can cut down as much carbon emissions as about 150 cars produce in a year. We also switched from diesel to Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to fuel our boilers.

These moves helped us shift towards cleaner energy and supported our commitment to responsible and sustainable operations, - one powered by renewables and cleaner fossil fuels.

Here’s what these mean for us:
✅ Less dependence on conventional energy
✅ More clean energy in our operations
✅ Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 7

These steps toward a greener future were made possible by the dedicated efforts of Girish Iyer, Makarand Gadekar, Vinayak Sawant, Mohsin Khan and Girish Pujari in our Engineering, Projects and Operations teams, led by Sumant Pilgaonkar, our Senior Vice President, Operations.💡 Their relentless work, meticulous planning, and on-ground ex*****on helped make a lasting impact on Rubicon’s sustainability journey.
