IRRI is a nonprofit research and education center established to reduce poverty and hunger, improve the health of rice farmers and consumers, and ensure environmental sustainability.

Happy and proud to share that Arena Consultants has done the designing and project management for this facility. Project included laboratory designing, offices, training rooms and state of the art library designing for International Rice Research Institute at Varanasi.

Earlier today Shri Aditnayath and party toured ISARC's premier laboratories such as the Center for Excellence in Rice Value Addition laboratory, Sensory Evaluation and Product Development Laboratory, Grain Quality and Food Safety Laboratory, and IRRI Education.

We did quick laboratory design for a start-up company. Conceptualization, detail designing and development was done in 7 days time frame. Fastest delivery from Arena team. Of course this requires client support and proactiveness in approval too.

This is about a special mention in the E-magazine of Pidilite industries. I had participated in conference organised by Society for Industrial Chemistry in conjunction with Department of Polymer & Surface Engineering on 10th February 2018 at ICT, Mumbai.

Combined Sports day conducted between Arena Consultants and Scienceby design team in monsoon. It was absolutely a fun event. Technical dumbcharades, dart, badminton, gully cricket, tug of war...followed by awesome snacks ...event displayed good team spirit and chemistry between team players..

Lab Ergonomics:
Research chemistry labs are always loaded with equipment’s. Yet what important is, how these equipment’s are placed and organized on the laboratory tables. Ergonomics in lab has to be maintained at all stages to avoid possible accidents.

This is from one of our past project where we had the challenge of accommodating lots of equipment’s on the tables as well as on the floor. Lab was designed allowing for obstacle free circulation spaces & easy movement of trolleys. We also reserved additional space for floor mounted equipment’s & table space for future requirements at the design stage itself. It was a simple design having a simple and minimalistic approach.
