Dear friends,
As a follow up to my previous video on cough, here I have highlighted some specific coughs and respiratory sounds that may be heard in respiratory issues in children.
Do keep in touch with your doctor and avoid self medication.
Seek help without delay in case of a sick and breathless child.

Cough is one of the most distressing symptoms in children.
While infections are the primary cause of cough, high degrees of pollution in our city are responsible for the incessant coughing in most of our children.
This causes a lot of anxiety to parents.
I have tried here to explain the basis of cough and how we can provide some comfort to our coughing child.

Do remember not to ignore prolonged cough particularly if it is associated with fever and breathlessness.

This activity was conducted for World Anemia Awareness, where we explained the causes of anaemia and the importance of healthy food to the children.

Access to packaged foods and carbonated drinks is not limited to the rich.
Children from the under privileged sections are equally susceptible and even more vulnerable due to lack of knowledge.

It was a day well spent and we intend to follow up on our check up and blood test campaign.
