To the less obvious paths—the ones that don’t always come with a roadmap, but offer the most profound learning.
Over the past 28 years, I’ve immersed myself in understanding the emotional, cultural, and deeply human relationship we all share with FOOD . It was never just about weight loss or counting calories. It was always about how we feel about food , how we eat, how we live. I’ve always believed that food carries stories, memories, comfort—and sometimes even healing.
Over the years, I’ve found myself drawn to the quiet corners of Food and Nutrition —the parts not often spoken about in diets or fitness plans. - to know about food that connects to our emotions, memories, and everyday lives.
After COVID, this journey expanded in unexpected ways. Although with the global connect pre Covid - online meant connecting with people far beyond the local community. From different parts of India to across the World , it was a reminder of how universal the challenges around Food and Health can be , and how important it is to approach these topics with sensitivity and care .
The privilege to share my work , experiences across various platforms , to support clients through their relationship with food in ways that were personal, respectful, and rooted in their realities -This way of working—focused on the more emotional, practical, and sustainable side of Nutrition —naturally led me to deepen my own learning.
This path wasn’t the most obvious one, and it certainly didn’t come with clear milestones. But it felt right. Slowly, step by step, I found myself learning, unlearning, and building an approach that felt more human. Along the way, I was extremely lucky to have people who trusted the process and respected the integrity of the work.
And today to receive my Ph.D ( DOCTOR IN PHILOSOPHY ) - specializing
In HEALTH and NUTRITION MANAGEMENT from CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UNIVERSITY feels like a quiet milestone in a long journey that’s still unfolding .
It’s a moment to pause , reflect and feel grateful, not just for the degree but for the people , the experiences, and the small meaningfull steps that brought me here.
This isn’t a milestone I reached alone—it belongs to every client, every mentor, every conversation, and every lesson along the way. I carry this moment forward with humility, and with a renewed commitment to keep doing the work that’s truly matters.
